Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino

We had an amazing experience at the Mandarin Oriental. The hotel exceeded our expectations — with incredible sea views and a refined atmosphere. All the staff were extremely helpful, attentive, and detail-oriented. We had great lunch and dinner at Tahir restaurant, the food is delicious, the staff is great. They also offer beach barbecues! Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and very comfortable. We already can’t wait to come back!

The buildings and landscaping are integrated into the existing cascading hills and offer a view of the Ionian Sea and the sunsets are stunning. The quality of the hotel areas and rooms are what you would expect from MO hotel and they have adapted the design expertly to match a beachfront resort. The amenities available are excellent from having your own e bike to a well equipped gym and spa. However all the above needs good service and this is where this hotel excels from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave . All the staff have been well trained as normal for MO however the genuine interest they had for you and delivering your needs was exceptional. Having travelled all over the world, I can honestly say that the service here, led by the ebullient Alexia M, was the best we ever experienced. The views, the food, the golf, the smiles… I will surely return!

I cannot rate this hotel enough. We came last year for our honeymoon for a week and enjoyed it so much we had to return. This time for two weeks! Everything is perfect. The setting looking across the bay. The architecture of the building. The planting in the grounds has grown so much from last year and I’ve taken so many photos. The service is absolutely five star. The hotel manager Nicole made a point of greeting us every day to make sure our stay was perfect. The staff are truly exceptional. Every single person is smiling and happy. A big shout out especially to Carlo George Dionysus at Pizza Sapienza a must of pizza delight. Thomas and Anna in the gym Naomie at the beach club Dessi the sommelier from Sicily Panayodis at the beach club Beata at breakfast Chloe in the restaurant at the beach with her smiley face everyday. Im sorry not to mention every one’s name but each person at the hotel made our holiday. Rooms are exceptional with stunning views from all. Love the electric bikes to go down to the beach and making the hill up to our room a doddle! Wildlife to enjoy everywhere. Watching the swallows swooping at breakfast was so beautiful. Food at all restaurants 5 star. What makes the resort social though is the ambience of peace and tranquility. We will be returning again next year for sure.

The hotel is quite new, so the rooms do feel very modern and sleek. The hotel has great infrastructure and the service is mostly top notch. The food is very good indeed, though a bit pricey compared to other local restaurants, which is to be expected. I was slightly unimpressed with the fact that some of the restaurants were not operating as expected, as I would have liked to experience new dishes, as the two main restaurants do get a bit boring after a few days. Overall a great property.

This is an excellent Mandarin and the accommodation was equally superb. Excellent views over the bay. The staff were faultless and addressed us by name, which always indicates great training. Very good restaurants, in particular the unique Pizza Experience, where one sits around a large bar, where the renowned chef prepares multiple pizzas throughout the meal. As good as it gets. Supposedly the best pizza chef in the world - and I wouldn’t challenge that claim.
