The Hotel is quiet old. Our room has some broken floor. However, we really appreciate with warm welcoming from the staffs, polite and friendly front and coffee shop staff, the quiet and nice atmosphere (we can walk around the very wide nice clean hotel compound both in the morning and evening), wide and spacious room and bathroom, nice traditional buffet breakfast (even there's not much choice but we had more than full stomach) and especially they have very tasty traditional hot milk-tea. It is like honeymoon-like-stay for us.

The room I checked in kept out of power.
At first I thought it was a power outage, but it was only our room.
I contacted the staff, but they didn't come after a while.
The late staff smelled of alcohol.

I had been to Pyin Oo Lwin several times and stayed at different places past by this hotel often. This time, almost of all of the rooms were occupied by our group in the quite pleasant weather. Walking in the hotel compound reaching governor's residence and having high tea were like a dream. Exchanging visits to old friend's room to have chitchat and laughter made the trip meeting full satisfaction. Staffs were friendly and breakfast was marvelous. Besides, afternoon tea with small snacks made me addicted to off-routine-schedule treats.
