I stayed at the for one night and faced the following issues:
1. I booked a deluxe room. However, the room given to me under the name Delxue was very small. When I checked at the reception, I was told that the standard rooms are even smaller.
2. But the most significant issue was with the breakfast. I booked my room paying almost 600 rupees extra at the time of booking. Since I had a morning flight to catch, I asked at the reception whether the breakfast would be ready by 7.30 (although the menu card of the restaurant said 7 am). I was told that it would be ready. In the morning, when I went down, a guy who identified himself as the restaurant manager said it wouldn't be ready till 8 am. When I said I had to leave by 7.45, he said he would try. Then he came and told me at 7.35 that breakfast was ready. He gave me a menu card that had items barely worth 600 rupees (going by Puttaparthy rates). When I told him to get me one of the items mentioned there, he said it would take another 12 minutes. This meant I could not leave till 8 am, which was too late for me. Thus, I left without having breakfast.
The attitude of the restaurant manager was the most disappointing. He was not concerned at all, almost giving the impression that he didn't care. He neither offered to pack the breakfast for me nor refund the breakfast charges. I told him that is not how you run your business, but I don't think it will make any difference to him.
Next time, when I travel to Puttaprthy, I am not going to stay at this hotel.
