One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in and certainly the best in Sri Lanka. Great food, excellent staff, great gym, pool and ambience.we stayed for 3 x nights in a chalet very close to the see front; it was very clean and well appointed. We changed from BandB to full board.once we arrived; this was $38 pppn, which wasn’t unreasonable but it’s worth checking that it’s not more economical to book FB or AI beforehand than change once there. After a couple of weeks exploring across Sri Lanka, this hotel was a luxurious way to unwind. I highly recommend it; special mention to some of the great staff who were particularly helpful during our stay; Grumman, Dulakshi, Maheshini and Upul.

Our 1st visit to Sri Lanka and we were very much looking forward to our stay at Club Hotel Dolphin, upon arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our room. We were staying in one of the superior rooms on the 3rd floor, there is no lift only for staff to use so if you have any mobility issues make sure you request a ground floor room. We had a few issues with the cleanliness of the room, however after a quick chat with reception this was quickly rectified. The pool area and grounds of the hotel are kept immaculately clean and EVERY single member of staff we encountered was super polite and friendly. Animation team work hard by the main pool every day to get you involved in the many activities but are super understandable if you just let them know you want to chill on your sun lounger. We were lucky enough to be there for NYE, and oh my word what a night it was.....absolutely incredible. The amount of effort that went into making sure the night was a success was phenomenal and honestly, it was one of the best NYE's we have had in long time. A huge thank you and well done to all involved. Food - now this is the reason I can't give 5 stars, whilst the dishes we tried were delicious it was always luke warm at best.....I know this has been mentioned to the management team and I really hope they listen to the feedback. I appreciate it is a buffet setting and there will always be a period of time the food is stood but even when we went for breakfast/lunch/dinner as soon as the restaurant opened the food was never hot. Such a shame as you can see how much effort goes into creating the dishes. Overall we had a wonderful week in Sri Lanka

We came to club Dolphin today after a bad experience in Puttlam. We feel very comfortable now and going through a pleasant experience with everything provided by club dolphin. We specially liked the service of animator Kavindu. He put a smile in everyones face.

Overall it was an amazing experience at the hotel and the hotel animation team was cool and especially Kalinda supported well and coordinated well. It was a very good day out. Impeccable lunch buffet and the never pool with volley ball and play area was really good.

Wonderful people and excitant service It's our 1st visit here had a nice time feel like a home the all staff are doing best service All the ways. Rooms are clean and feel so comfortable. Front office operators are friendly all the time. And foods yummy we enjoyed very well Restaurant staff are very friendly we had some issues but this guy's made our holiday I meet guy in restaurant Sanjeewa he gave us excitant service and lovely smile on his face all the time. Thank you Mapa your always helpful (restaurant manager ) Mapa you should be proud about your staff. And thank you chef prashad And all the stuff in the kitchen

Just booked our 3 visit back to the dolphin . Chandana and Angela sorted everything for us with one email . Shout out to the General manager who does so much behind the scene for the guests and staff . I have visited lots of hotels the GM at this hotel is head and shoulders above the rest .

Overall,this hotel is a very good hotel,there is nothing worng with it,the beach is very beautiful,and the hotel food is very delicious,there are no words to describe it,and I want to special thank the fitness animator pahasara,he made my vacation very enjoyable,and he is a very talented fitness and bodybuilding trainer💪,best wishes for your future fitness animator pahasara..
