While the grounds are very pleasant, the actual room was below expectations. Some little things to mention, no rug in the front entrance of the room, and being the weather was quite rainy, we were tracking our wet feet into the room. Also, the room could use some towel racks to actually hang up a towel, and the bathroom had some moldy areas where the door trim was.
The toilet paper holder was barely hanging onto the wall, and there was a wall plate from the closet laying on the floor and would not stay attached to the wall unless the garbage pail was pressed up against it. The heater was caked in dust, and being that the weather was damp and cool when turning on the heating unit, the unit itself blew out quite a bit of dust into the room. Overall, a little disappointing for the money.

I had heard that they upgraded so I gave it a shot. Same dingy place. Choked on the heavy antiseptic smell. Opened the windows but there aren’t any screens. Ants in the bathroom. Right on a busy roadway so noise is an issue too. Someday I’ll learn that you get what you pay for

Check-in: the clerk was unfamiliar with the property and couldn't tell where our room was. It took a couple of visits to the front desk to narrow the search. Heidi's is pet friendly, so there were two guests' barking dogs in the breakfast/restaurant area where/while guests were dining. Walls aren't close to sound-proof. One can hear neighbors footsteps and normal-toned conversations in adjoining rooms. But our room was spacious.

Great motel on a lovely property
The motel is comprised of several, one floor motel buildings that are set in a small hillside with pathways and garden areas that give it a park-like feel. The rooms are clean and updated. The breakfast area is lovely with a nice stone fireplace. It has an outdoor pool during the season and is pet friendly. Aside from there being no coffee machine in the smaller rooms the place is perfect. I would definitely recommend it.

Have stayed at Heidi's Inn several times and we are never disappointed. Very hospitable, clean rooms, very basic but we don't need fancy and it works for us.
Continental,breakfast in the morning and perfect location, easy to find. We love Heidi's....
