After travelling the serene mountains of Sikkim and hills of Darjeeling we reached the Mayfair Purnea, nestled at the outskirts of purnea town it’s a calm, serene and poetic location. The greenery dipping down the temperature by few degrees and the pool providing the much needed relief from heat. Special mention to Mr Naveen, caretaker of pool for his friendliness, professionalism and readiness. The spa experience was angelic, took couple spa with Ms Anisha & Ms Lily who relieved us from the tiredness of the week long travel and transcended us into beauty sleep. The rooms were spacious, Kingly and spotless. The palatial look added by the mirrors and the bed added to the overall experience. Amenities included in the room and on call were adequate to allow a comfortable & lazy stay at the property and avoiding the heat & traffic outside the gates of the resort. The food,ordered for dine in in room and the buffet breakfast, was delicious and freshly prepared as per our specifications allowing sumptuous meals during the stay. The Check-in & Checkout experience was smooth, the desk being manned by friendly staff and helping with information about the spa, pool and all other amenities. Special mention to Mr Neeraj and Mr Rupesh (GM) for being present to add that personal touch to our experience.

The campus of hotel is very beutiful, gym and spa is luxury, lost of indoors game are available which is very playful for customer, and hotels are very clean.

this place is surrounded with lush green atmosphere there is a lake beside the property and you can take a very good walk around it overall I thought that I had a wonderful stay at this place

the property is overhyped.
1. staff were not very accommodating and denied multiple reasonable requests.
2. the bathroom didn’t have any exhaust and smelled real bad.
3. room was spacious but they overcharged us. there were two twin beds which could accommodate 4 people and we were just 3 people in total but they refused to allow one more person as guest since the booking was only for two people.
4. there was no facility for our driver to stay at. they refused to provide any accommodation to him. he had to sleep in car in cold. would not recommend anyone to stay here. pathetic experience.
