Colores de Purmamarca

Amazing place in Pumamarka. Greta location to explore the Humahuaca and Salinas grandes. Very picturesque quiet location with views of the Hill of Seven colors from every apartment balcony. Spacious clean beautiful decor. The service was superb. The wine selection in the restaurant had good local wines.

We loved this place; great service by lovely people. The setting of apartment is amazing, pool is on the small side but perfect for quick cool down. Breakfast better then average. On day of arrival they organized small welcome drink and at checkout all staff gathered to say goodbye.

Easy to access and open to hikers, this made for a great day. I didn't appreciate that the viewing platform in town had an entrance fee (since I was hiking, I had no cash on me), but there are plenty of trails to explore on your own and the views are goreous.

Great little hotel just out of the centre of Purmamarca. Tasteful decorations and self-catering including full kitchen, living area and balcony upstairs with views to the Colores of Purmamarca. Nice pool and spa and whisper quiet at night. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and good breakfast. Very accommodating host who brought empanadas and a glass of wine to our room in the evening and was happy to supply milk for a cup of tea and converse via Google translate. We were farewelled by all the staff at the front gate. Great Argentinian hospitality.

We seemed to be in the middle of nowhere and our travel company booked us into this hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised. Each place is like a home. We had 2 bedrooms 3 bathrooms, kitchen and a living room. The hotel had a local musician who played music outside with free wine. We headed into town which was about a 4 block walk. Very beautiful area. We had my family (6 people) so we got 2 units. Very clean, modern and new. Several artistic touches inside that made you feel like you were in the Argentinian mountains. The location was perfect for touring. Each place also has an outdoor grill for those who are adventurous. The town has a nice amount of wonderful restaurants. As a side note, as it got late my wife and I wanted a glass of wine, while there is no restaurant, the front desk has a limited but very nice selection of wines. Very reasonably priced.

Colores de Purmamarca is a lovely place to stay! The houses are very spacious, all clean and very enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and tries to make you feel welcome, the evening drink and live music they organise every evening is a very nice touch to the whole experience. The only small negative point is that the beds are a bit bouncy!
