We made a grave mistake to opt for package stay for a friends group with family. Paid more than 40% as advance. The very first demand we received on arrival was to pay 100%. We delayed that till first night. The geysers were off from the main. Until we paid, that worked. The next day, right after the payment, these were switched off again. Hotel said they will put it on only at a specific time. It was a project just to put on the tiny geysers. Hotel is severely under staffed. Almost each and every request takes several reminders and follow ups to be fulfilled. Staffs are hard working but untrained. Too many mistakes in extra items ordered quantity for billing. The owner must know that now-a-days many people like us are willing to pay but they need proper service. Several promises made while booking were denied, menus changed, services not rendered. The infrastructure is not bad but the lack of professionalism and wrong attitude of the owner to maximise profits will ultimately cause downfall of business because there are no dearth of similar or better hotels in Tajpur.
