My stay at Namuwoki was unparalleled in calmness, comfortability, and awesomeness. The facilities were stunnigly clean, ample, and comfortable - all while nestled in a perfectly balanced environment with nature. The food at the restaurant is outstanding- with service being kind, amicable, and not too much on your face which is a blessing for me. The beef churrasco is one of the best ones I’ve tried in the area and with the best price in town. If you’re looking for a centric, not too far way from the beach, but well hidden spot from the rest of town - this place is for you. And with the staff, you would not fall short of anything.

Enjoyed our 3 night stay in a separate bungalow - spacious & comfotable (but no aircon). It is set in forest with agoutis wandering around eating fallen fruits, & toucans flying overhead. The restaurant was fine, but easy to walk to others nearby too. Good parking & close to many good beaches & wildlife tours. The pool was pleasant on a hot day

This lodge is ideally located for the national parks and is very quiet and secluded. Do not come here if you want towns, shopping or action. The beach, although close is a little tricky to find and quite scruffy. Staff were nice but facilities quite basic.

Very nice location out of town and a short walk to a local beach. Supermarket and a range of restaurants nearby. Wonderful friendly and helpful staff, but facilities are quite basic with a very small pool, but then this is a base hotel for touring, not a resort. Comfortable room and mostly quiet, and you feel you are in the rainforest, although for our room there was human noise during the day from an adjacent property, which was a shame and I mark down from 4 to 3. When quiet, it was beautiful and relaxing to sit out and watch the wildlife on the property. We ate at the restaurant one evening and very good food. Breakfast is very basic and the restaurant is too small as when large groups are in, you have to wait. A nice, basic relaxed lodge, and we enjoyed our few days' stay before moving on.

The place is 200 m from Playa Chiquita entrance (cars can only go about 100 m, then it's end road and you have to walk anyway).
They have a nice restaurant inside the property with really good food and you can avoid the crowds in town.
Excellent place to rest and the staff is super kind.

This lodge is absolutely beautiful and has everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic and we enjoyed watching capuchin monkeys and agoutis from our patio. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, and everything was spotless. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful stay here while travelling through Costa Rica. The setting is wonderful, plenty of wildlife just outside the door. We were very well looked after by the staff, nice food in the little restaurant and lovely cocktails. We celebrated our daughter’s birthday while we were staying here, and a big shout out to Brianna, who went to special effort to make it such a lovely evening for us.

We loved this hotel. A small resort with nice chalets and great staff. There is a small pool and pool bar. The beach over the road is just beautiful and deserted - we had a lovely time swimming in the warm water. We hired bikes and cycled into town to look at the shops and bars and in the evening we got a tuk tuk to take us down there for a meal. We also ate in the restaurant which had a great menu
