I am writing this feedback not to criticise but with hope that there will be some improvement for next time when we come back, because we do want to comeback to this hotel. First Impression of hotel was not good. Probably because we arrived at late in the evening. They gave us “late dinner” which was dry baggute and some cucumber salad. But next day all changed. We are happy with area, apartment, food. But what let this hotel down is staff. Not all. Specialy receptionist . So so rude and unfriendly. It felt like I am 3 star hotel. I asked why 5 star hotel don’t have matrices for sun beds? All answers was “I don’t know”. Staff from restaurant area, a lady who cooked fish in the evening so rude, just felt like I came here to ask her for free. Just horrible. Please improve 1) staff service 2) get a good iron (I am sure you can afford that for 5 star hotel). 3) would be nice to see matraces on the sun beds Other than that I would recommend this hotel and definitely would come back.

Lovely resort. We stayed in the premier resident with a private pool and the facilities were great. Staff incredibly friendly and efficient. There are a lot of families here but there’s about room to get away from the crowds and the resort is situated very conveniently near to Punta Primas small centre with shops, restaurants and bars

After a 10 year break, we revisited Punta Prima Prestige Suites with our young children. While our arrival didn't quite meet the high expectations we'd set based on past experiences at other 5-star establishments, the welcome was pleasant, and the pool area staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Our room, with its stunning sea views, was well-appointed and the housekeeping service ensured it was always clean and comfortable for our children. Breakfast was consistently enjoyable, with a cheerful greeting from the staff and a few individuals who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Dinner was a mixed bag. While the service was generally good, and we particularly enjoyed Julio's tuna steak and the sizzle blocks, the cooking quality varied. Often the chef's task of single handedly managing four live cooking stations seemed overwhelming at times, leading to longer wait times and inconsistent cooking. The resort's facilities, including the splash pool, tennis courts, playground, and pools, were well-maintained. We appreciated the access to the facilities at the adjacent Insotel hotel. The standout feature of our holiday was the incredible Insi Kids team. Nicole and Giulia were exceptional in their care and engagement with our children. Their professionalism, fun attitude, and genuine love for working with children made our girls feel secure and at ease. The highlight was our eldest daughter's participation in the talent show and our youngest's dancing with the team on her birthday. We are immensely grateful to the Insi Kids team for making our holiday so special.

This is a really lovely hotel. The location is stunning, with clear, uninterrupted views overlooking the gorgeous turquoise sea. The suite was huge with an enormous balcony, 2 bathrooms and a small galley kitchen that was fully equipped with fridge and kettle plus a cooker, if you need it. There’s a hidden Murphy bed and chair bed (each sleeping 1 person) staff prepare these each night so they’re hidden giving you maximum space in the day. The room and pool area were spotlessly clean. The buffet restaurant was nice and the staff so friendly and attentive. A great selection of fresh meat and fish cooked for you on a grill and ample vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast and dinner. The real gem of this hotel is its small exclusive nature. You can use all the amenities of the neighbouring Insotel Resort hotel - water park, sports facilities, evening entertainment, pool and restaurants (you can book 1 per week outside the buffet) but those guests can’t use the prestige, so you feel like a VIP in a boutique, exclusive hotel. The pool and restaurant buffet for breakfast or dinner was never crowded (unlike the all inclusive Insotel which was packed with queues at dinner and rammed around the pool!) It was so easy to chat to other guests as you see the same faces at breakfast and by the pool. The location in the SE of the island is great for exploring nearby towns and beautiful beaches and coves for fantastic snorkelling. Also close to Mahon to explore the city. We didn’t hire a car, the taxi and bus services were so easy and reliable with buses and the “ting ting” land train stopping at the hotel. I would love to return. It’s a total gem of a hotel and location. We LOVED it!

Very convenient location, close to the beach, to the waterfront with its shops and restaurants. Spacious and clean rooms with ample terraces, very quiet and nice pool, good quality buffet and amazing facilities (tennis courts, gym, SPA).

I recommend this hotel, staff were lovely and friendly, spotlessly clean suites, towels changed every day . Restaurant was amazing , food delicious , views over the lighthouse were lovely . I can’t fault it at all , would definitely stay there again .

The suites were very spacious, comfortable, immaculately clean and maintained to a very high standard by the housekeeping staff throughout our stay. The Prestige part of the resort has limited facilities (a pool area and a bar which was sporadically staffed) but we did have access to the facilities in the larger all inclusive part of the resort, including the use of free tennis courts. The food was a big disappointment; our half board package included buffet meals in the Prestige Nura restaurant , but we were told at check in that we could choose to eat in one of the 'specialist' restaurants on site on one day. We chose to eat in the Tapas restaurant, where we were served a mediocre set menu (the croquettes were still frozen inside) for which there was an (unexpected) additional charge of 31 euros per person. The food in the Prestige restaurant wasn't much better; buffet style food served lukewarm on cold plates. The only decent food was served by the chef who freshly grilled ‘specials’ each evening. Drinks were expensive (c12 euros for a glass of wine), although we didn’t know how much was being charged to our account for each drink as we were told there was no wine list or bar menu to view! There were some free drinks on offer each evening but these seemed to be offered to only certain individuals (and not just to new arrivals which might have made some sense?) The restaurant staff worked very hard to provide a high level of service and continuously replenish the buffet - although even the freshly put out food was not hot. As other reviewers have mentioned - there are some great restaurants along the front in Punta Prima - we'd particularly recommend Chiringuito Aire.

Been back a week from our stay here .we stayed in the prestige suite area of the hotel which is very nice although the rooms are a little tired , if you go expecting five star it’s not ,we have stayed in many five star establishments and this is not one the suite area has its own restaurant ,pool reception and bar , the food was never very warm and the plate heaters were not switched on ,the reception were very helpfull and did their best ,pool area was fine along with the pool bar ,the bar above the restaurant was never manned so we couldn’t actually get a drink there when we went to the main entertainment area we were told by a member of staff we couldn’t get a drink there as we weren’t all inclusive we actually went to the all inclusive restaurant one night which had a better choice ,and hot plates .we had the smallest bill to pay at the hotel we’ve ever had simply because we couldn’t use the facilities ,there were other a la carte options apparently but they were also closed we ended up eating out at night down at the beach front all in all a bit disappointing don’t think we would go back

We’ve stayed at many 5-star hotels, but Insolet Suites & Spa truly stands out. From the moment we arrived, there was something different about the experience. It took us a while to pinpoint it, but we realised it was the genuinely warm and welcoming atmosphere. Unlike the formality and pretentiousness often associated with luxury hotels, this place felt remarkably homely and inviting. The staff were exceptional, going above and beyond at every turn. A special mention to the buffet team, who made every meal feel like a warm gathering rather than just another service. Julio Cesar deserves special recognition — he's not just incredibly friendly and approachable, but his mastery at the grill was a highlight of our stay. His warmth and skill made every meal an experience, and we couldn't get enough. The food variety was outstanding. By the end of our stay, we were already wishing we could stay another two weeks just to enjoy more. The sweet potato (boniato) with cinnamon and sugar was an unexpected treat that I still think about! We will definitely be returning — and this time, we’ll be bringing friends and family to share in the experience. Saludos desde Londres, Leah, Aila, Andreea & Joao
