Absolutely fantastic resort with some of the friendliest staff I’ve experienced. From reception to waiting staff, cleaners and entertainment staff, the friendliest hotel we’ve stayed at. Nothing is too much trouble. A credit to the Insotel group. This is a fantastic hotel/Spa and 10/10 hardly does it justice. From the amazing array of food which changes daily in the buffet restaurant, through to the a la carte restaurants on site, you are spoilt for choice on the food front. Then there is the choice of the pools. We only used the top pool found at the north of the site. Much deeper, quieter and less kids, adjoined by the Il Faro restaurant where you can get lunch, drinks and snacks throughout the day. We also enjoyed an evening meal here (pre booked). The south pool and splash pools for the kids, coupled with the various water slides means you’ll never be bored of where to swim and sun bathe. The entertainment and artistic teams put on fabulous shows on an evening which is mixed with third party acts. We saw a Mowtown group from South Africa, an acrobatic act from Mongolia and another circus type act from somewhere I cannot remember. The effort put in and the quality of performers is really excellent. I would wholeheartedly recommend this for couples and families alike. A fantastic holiday on the beautiful island of Menorca.

We don't usually leave reviews but do feel after our recent experience that we would like to share some thoughts that may help others when looking into booking their holiday. We booked through TUI after extensive research trying to find something that would suit our family needs. Firstly the location is close to the airport and transfer time was very quick. We booked a private transfer but it only took about 15-20 minutes. Airport experience also stress free as a lovely small airport which helped us with our autistic girls. We had an early morning flight and arrived at the hotel around 10.15am, unfortunately we were advised our room may not be ready until 3pm but it was indicated that it would probably be a lot sooner and they would call us. So we went off to do a bit of exploring around the resort and get our bearings. We were also able to use the AI facilities so waited a couple of hours to eat lunch and had a swim. Positives - beautiful location, very well maintained, pools clean and good variety (slides, splash parks, swimming etc), plenty of sun loungers, Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily (cleaners do a great job), entertainment was above average in our view and it is clear that a lot of hard work goes into this. Most staff very hardworking and polite. The option to have a two bedroom apartment was a deal breaker for our requirements. Bottle drinks service at dinner and premium brands at bars. Few minute walk to beach and a few shops and restaurants which were lovely (we ate out twice here in local restaurants in our week stay). It was a nice option that you could eat at the italian or grill at lunchtime without booking for a more relaxed meal time. Negatives - Food - this is the main reason we wouldn't return to this hotel. We have been to quite a few AI resorts in Spain over the past few years and this is by far the most disappointing (quality and variety) definitely NOT 4 star more like 3 star at best. We acknowledge the staff work very hard but the food lets the hotel experience down and it was a struggle to eat at times (over cooked meat, undercooked scrambled eggs, cross contamination of utensils used for raw and cooked meat a few examples) I ended up just eating fruit for breakfast most days the bacon was processed and sausages poor quality. The girls basically lived on pasta and chips which even they were fed up of after a few days. The 'a la cartes' were not really as such more like buffets in a different location so a bit quieter without all the clattering of plates and cutlery also very hard to book as the slots go straight away on the app. I'd say the hotel would benefit from a bit of modernisation and updating. Air con not great, room smelt damp, mould in bathroom (poorly ventilated), ants inside rooms (even wardrobes), wasps a nuisance around self service drinks which put kids off helping themselves, cocktails (small plastic cup coloured juices not a proper cocktail), wine (bottles and on tap) an
