The rooms at this facility is very overpriced. They give a one star motel feel on the inside. They could clearly use an update, paint job and better beds. Very disappointed in my room.
The staff was very friendly, until our friend came up missing. We called her phone and the front desk answered and said they had it. When we got to the front desk, asking for help or maybe view the cameras, they refused. We were told this happens all the time and she will show. We were told she is just drunk. One of the supervisors got mad and when i requested someone over him he stated they were eating. After about and hour of no help we finally got a different person who requested a security person(*note the first person he was gonna call them up and didn't). When the security finally got there, they said they found her phone in the bar and she was asleep on the beach. They found on the beach and left her out there for over 6 hours. It shouldn't matter if a person is drunk somewhere and they will show up. There was no since urgency for someone who was not where they should be.

They mislead you about the room credits. Me and a few friends were waiting in the lobby and the driver left us without contacting. Overall would have liked the next door resort better. Would never book here again and I’m ashamed of how ******* handled our transportation.

2.hotel needs updates
3.They don't provide wash clothes..u have to buy them in the gift shop
4. Customer service needs work
5. They followed me in the gift shop like I was stealing EVERY TIME I WENT IN THERE.
6. There were NO PARTIES THERE.. u have to go to the sister location and they only provide a shuttle half the time
7. The US dollar goes a long way
8.My room didn't have AC the first night
9. Steakhouse night staff are HORRIBLE

The grounds of the property are very nice. Beach is awesome with plenty of chairs. Dining is just ok. Rooms are dated but clean.

Riu Republica was amazing! Staff were helpful and friendly! The whole resort was nice and clean, on time with food and plenty of different fresh food options. Was easy to schedule excursions, car services. No drama with anyone or anything! Very fun, having night life and other activities throughout the week if you don’t want to party. 10/10 will most likely come back again!!

The property grounds were beautiful and well kept. The property seemed to cater the events to the very young crowd and they were obnoxious. There was pulled up plants from planters, trash, and vomit in the elevator. The staff had their work cut out for them and I feel like they did a good job, but the majority of the guests were so disrespectful, (Including whooping and hollering in the hallways and grounds until about 3-5 am) and I feel sorry for the staff that had to come behind and pick up after these immature young adults!
