Very cozy historic hotel. Rooms was nicely decorated with high quality linen. Free sauna included. Had 4 course dinner made from local ingredients. Fantastic experience! The surrounding ridges and walking paths are so beautiful. Private sand beach for guests. The view from terrace and restaurant… breathtaking

I we went her for lunch. All the food was foraged from the surrounding woods and lake. Each dish was not only a work of art, but delicious. Many things I hadn't eaten before. All delicious. I would go again, but of course, depending upon the season, this talented chef would be using completely different products. This was one of the most interesting and wonderful lunches I have every eaten. I do not know about the hotel accommodations. My friend, used to go there with her family when she was young. After lunch, well served in a light-filled airy dining room, with a view of the lake and woods, we walked around the area, down to the lake, where a large boat had just docked. We found out we could have taken the boat(three hours) from Savonlinna, but we drove (half an hour) On our walk, we found many of the plants used in lunch. A delightful few hours.

We didn’t stay over night but went for breakfast there. A very good choice actually, it was auite nice and the best is that there were a lot of local ingredients. The eggs were especially tasty. The surroundings are quite nice too, if their room pricing was more decent I could imagine staying there.

I had a 3-course dinner with a group of 90 colleagues. Ashamed to admit - was my 1st visit here even as a local that I am. But my goodness, for sure it was not last! The service was excellent; many thanks to the beautiful, young, kind staff. The food was amazing, delicious, mind blowing. I had a vegan menu for request and everyone at my table were jealous about my main course; mushroom risotto. Hostess Saimi came to greet us by a delightful speech - she is such a sparkling, empowering person. After dinner we had a chance to take a look at the beautiful renovated hotel, so interesting! It was truly an evening to remember. Thank you and we'll meet again!

Almost everything failed during our lunch. Waiting time was 1,5 half hours (restaurant was not crowded), and finally the food was a big disappointment. The worst was risotto - homemade oath porage is much better. Positive issues: children food was good, and the staff expressed understanding on our dissatisfaction. This was a big surprise - in summer 2021 we got excellent food and service. What has happened to this place over the last year...?

Traumhaftes Hotel im Nirgendwo mit eine bildhübschen Veranda und einer phantastischen Küche. Die Gerichte haben ihren Preis, das Ambiente ist ein finnischer Himmel! Personal supernett, perfekte Speisenfolge, jeder Gang ein Genuss, man fühlt sich wie in Zar in Finnland!

Das Hotel liegt anschaulich, mit Seeanschluss, in einem eigenen Pinienwald. Das Hotel ist gepflegt und nett eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls gut eingerichtet, die Betten sehr gut. Leider weisen die Badezimmer im Nassbereich starke Schimmelspuren auf - hier wäre mehr Pflege bzw. eine Renovation sehr angebracht. Das Restaurant hat eine gute Speisekarte, die Küche liefert eine sehr gute Qualität; leider mussten wir 1.5h(!) zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgang warteten, obwohl das Restaurant nicht voll besetzt war. Das Personal ist bemüht - mehr Kundenfokus und Freundlichkeit täten gut. Unser Aufenthalt war ansprechend - ist leider hinter den Ansprüchen des Hotels geblieben.
