Professional receptionists and great bedroom cleaner, both always doing their best, but hotel in dire need of refurbishing and cleaning of common parts. There is a very apparent lack of a general manager and staff training. For example, the entrance driveway was extremely dusty and full of dead leaves yet several staff just hung around doing nothing. I never had a nod or smile in spite of offering both for the 18 days of my stay. It’s a dirty road so this needs twice daily sweeping. A general manager A deep clean. - A lick of paint The occasional smile These would make all the difference as this hotel in charming. I stayed here 15 years ago and couldn’t believe how low standards have dropped. I would have checked out if I hadn’t already paid in full.
