Its name alone evokes the great wines of Burgundy. This underlines just to what extent this hotel is inspired by epicurean tendencies Built in 1842 this former country inn surrounded by stables showcases the very best of the local produce. Rustic charm and an excellent eating experience guaranteed. Harmonious marriage of classical wooden furniture and more modern equipment in the bathrooms this hotel provides well-being in a simple manner. The restaurant serves the best vintage wines. Went there 3 years ago and the experience is still amazing. Fantastic food and service. Price is also decent considering the quality and the wine menu is great. The personnel was very Friendly and the sommelier made great recommendations. Will definitely go again next year

This is the second time we have stayed here since the opening. We cannot commend the restaurant staff highly enough, Andre, Thoma and Estelle plus everyone else made our stay a delight the warmth they generate was superb, excellent service is one thing but the warmth and personal touch to go with it are skills that you only get from the right people. The rooms are what you would expect for a Como property and now the pool is finished that will add an extra dimension, unfortunately just after we left.

Absolutely fabulous hotel ! Warm and welcoming staff (Caroline) who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, especially with our children. The hotel and room were beautiful. Incredible attention to detail, attentive and friendly staff and absolutely delicious dinner have made us want to return as soon as possible. The room was beautiful as well- immaculate and elegant. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Beautiful small boutique hotel in the heart of Puligny-Montrachet. We arrived earlier than the check in time and they were kind enough to hold our luggage while we explored the area. Upon returning to the hotel we checked in to our rooms. I had booked a suite, which had a room with a king bed and then an adjacent room with a sitting area. The suite was fully equipped with espresso machine, robes, towels, candy. While walking through the hallway, I did notice that the regular rooms were small. The hotel has beautiful grounds, the restaurant is excellent. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner on the patio and I can honestly say everything was very good. Service was ok. Some employees were very knowledgable and helpful, others had no idea. I was able to get gluten free bread, in fact I had an excellent gluten free club sandwich that I am still dreaming of. While Como is known for a luxury brand, this hotel is missing the mark on that. When we arrived, we did not get welcome towels, or a glass of wine, or fresh juice or even water. The grounds are beautiful but it's mismanaged. There were some sofas that were very dirty outside. The hotel badly needs a pool. In the summer, after all day of wine tasting , it's nice to come and hang out by the pool. The hotel also does not have a spa. When I inquired about getting a massage, I was told I had to go in town. I hope management will improve this hotel, I can't wait to go back. I give it my GoldnAdvice seal of approval.

On this occasion, we ate in the restaurant rather than stayed in the hotel unlike previous years where we'd do both. The hotel has been renovated and is now owned by an Asian group that has brought a particularly non-Burgundian vibe to the place. Prices are also 2X year on year, so the hotel has become priced for rich tourists, no doubt explained by the clientele in Como's other (non-European) hotels. Although the Montrachet hotel building has been renovated, the terrace and gardens are as yet unchanged. We've been visiting Montrachet for several years as the village is magical. The hotel has been a special destination for generations of wine lovers and the former lobby was rather charming in the way it featured local wines and their history. Post renovation, that is all gone and what is left is a distinctly corporate feel. The restaurant's redesign is particularly noteworthy. It now looks like an expensive designer was engaged to remodel it but failed to capture anything of the feel of the village or indeed the region. You could be forgiven for thinking, if you had your eyes closed entering the hotel, that you were eating in a New York expense-account restaurant. The décor is grey and the high ceilings have had randomly sized bright white balloons installed as lighting. The restaurant is devoid of any warmth or taste, and in our opinion has ruined the hotel. The food was okay, but the pricing has now become extreme. There was nothing interesting about the menu, and given the importance of the wines you would be drinking, it felt like the food clashed with them. The best part of our visit this time was opening a bottle of Puligny from the unchanged wine list sitting on the unchanged terrace in the unchanged gardens. I have to say with great sadness that we will likely never return, except for pre-dinner drinks. We weren't alone in thinking this and we found former customers of Montrachet at the restaurant across the square which had an exciting menu, and were staying at a charming hotel around the corner. Como, I'm sorry but you have blown it.

Had a very nice lunch on the terrace! Lots of changes over the past few years. Used to be a sleep little 1 Star Michelin hotel and restaurant but now has a very modern look…several renovations have expanded the hotel and dining room. Great little bar to stop and have a great glass of wine in the afternoon or evening. Food was very good and the service was very good! Not quite the charm of the old hotel and restaurant but still a very nice experience.

Charming hotel in pretty village with a couple of alternative eating options and an excellent bakery. We were very well looked after in this recently renovated hotel. The restaurant is particularly good and I can see a michelin star soon. The dining room is stunning. Wine, an array of burgundies by the glass, was brilliant, all well kept, and served at the right temperature. Breakfast was excellent, rooms very good with a walk in shower. Certainly worth going back.

Just stayed last night at the COMO hotel. It was special and everything was just perfect. From the warm and personable welcome we received, to the great toffees you get in your room. We had a meal in the stunning restaurant last night, with the garden menu, 6 courses of delight, accompanied it with poully-montechet premier cru, wortH every penny what a delight. The staff were both professional and friendly, the general speed between courses was perfect, not too rushed and not lethargic. We come here every year as a stop on our trip from the Alps to CDG, it is a perfect stop. It is impressive to see how much has changed in a year and next summer there are due to be even more changes. We can’t wait. Thank you again
