While at the resort you can enjoy a great 18 hole golf course designed by Lee Trevino and Dave Bennett.  There is a mechanical boat launching facility at the resort. A recently renovated log cabin with restrooms, covered picnic tables, fire pit, and charcoal grills are available for large gatherings. Excellent location near the General Burnside State Park and Burnside marina, with a less than 10 minute drive. Temporary boat parking is available near security gates for extra fee (paid to Woodson). General Burnside is a free spot to put your boat in the water for a day on the lake. Close to Somerset, where you can find groceries, restaurants, and entertainment. Woodson Bend offers many amenities, particularly during the summer months. You might find yourself swimming and listening to a local band, watching a fabulous fireworks display, playing tennis or pickleball on the courts, or engaging in a round of golf.
