The hotel is really nice, the beach is quiet, white sand, clear waters. The staff is really friendly and helpful, in special the bar staff, the entertainment staff and the concierge for being very accommodating. The bad things about the hotel is that everything is extra. You have to pay extra for the beach chairs, towels and I think for a beach resort that is non-sense. I understand giving a deposit for the towel (as many people tend to steal or damage it) but not to pay for a new one every day. The beach chairs, 15 euros per person - not per umbrella+2 chairs as it is generally done. It's very expensive. Another thing is that the breakfast is very poor. I was expecting nice natural squeezed juice but got the boxed ones, the italian bread - that is always very good - were dry and tasteless. A lack of fruits too (except pear and oranges). The coffee is from a machine. Needless to say that the breakfast was a big disappointment. ANother thing is that we are not allowed to use any restaurant so you are designated to one, which is fine but they need to make it more clear in the reception. If you're ready to pay more extras and maybe keep getting a taxi to go around for dinner, this is a great place to stay.

I came here for a meeting. Delicious Italian food and beautiful beach views are unforgettable. This should be a suitable place for family travel, for those who like a quiet and comfortable environment.

This is without a doubt the worst hotel I have ever encountered. It is a two star on its best day. In all honesty, I wouldn't even give it that. The staff are rude, the rooms are dirty, the food is mediocre at best and everything you would normally expect to be included will cost extra. You are not a guest, you are a cash cow, ripe for the milking. First off, it is remote. Like really remote. We knew this when we booked. The downside of this is that you will need a car to get away from this place. I would seriously suggest hiring a car at the airport as the cab fare to and from the hotel is 90 euros each way. On arrival, expect the reception staff to speak no English, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish or Norwegian. All of the languages that we can communicate in. Alarm bells should have started ringing at this point, but foolishly we persevered. Having been allocated our room, we found it to be subpar. The floor might have been cleaned at some point within the last month, judging by the amount of hair and dead insects rolled into the corners. As we arrived later in the evening and didn't fancy a trip into town for dinner, we thought we would give the hotel restaurant a go. Big mistake. The service is non-existent. The food is a joke and the pricing is imaginative. Avoid like the plague! First we were seated, by possibly the rudest waiter on the planet. This was a theme that the hotel seems to cultivate. I don't know whether this was because we are not Italian or if they reserve this treatment for all guests who pay their wages. We ordered three drinks, for some reason each drink required a receipt to be slapped down on the table with thinly veiled contempt. The drinks took half an hour to materialise, but only after we stopped the waiter from having a nice cosy chat with his friend. That really annoyed him. Next, we ordered our food. That also took half an hour to come to the table, with no accompanying dishes. Three drinks, chicken, fish and a pizza came to 200 euros. A total rip off considering the food was clearly not fresh and had absolutely zero attention to detail lavished on it. At this point we retired to bed. Too tired to even try and communicate our disappointment to the reception staff. They wouldn't have understood or cared either way. Next morning we went for breakfast and as many have already communicated, it is lacking to say the least. The fruit is from a tin, the bread was gone and the cold cuts were clearly from a packet. The coffee machines were running out and one of them was pouring milk all of the floor from an overflowing drip tray. Any attempt to bring this to the serving staff's attention will be met with a tut, an eye roll and the impression that you are the one causing the issue. Because they are 'so very busy' chatting to their mates and generally hating everyone who isn't Italian. The lack of service and general rudeness of the staff managed to upset my wife to the point she had a

The hotel was a nightmare from the start. The design of the suite is terrible, the sink is outside the bathroom in the living room! The only working plug socket is under the television, you have to charge your mobile phone on the floor!! The shower is only hot for one person and the floor is flooded every time you use it. Our last night there was a power cut. We were in bed and the emergency lighting came on. Also one night the maids hadn’t closed the balcony door properly and someone opened it in the night - that was very scary as my Mother is elderly and couldn’t sleep afterwards. The breakfast was poor and every day we struggled to find a table. They ran out of cutlery, plates, food and drink every day. The attitude of most of the staff in that hotel is shocking. They do not want to help you!! There is one exception, the concierge Manolo, he is an asset to the hotel. Thank you Manolo for helping us on several occasions. We arrived to a double bed when we asked for twin beds and it was not an easy task getting it resolved. We had to wait until very late before sheets arrived and we had to make up our own beds!! The swimming pool is cold and has a dangerous broken step to get in and out of it. The only reason this hotel didn’t get one star is because of Manolo and also the air conditioning is good in the suite and the beach location is good. If you haven’t paid for half board then you have nowhere to eat in the hotel! You have to cross the road to eat in the Pizzeria. Luckily the pizzeria is good and I recommend it. I also recommend you take the bus outside the hotel and pay one euro to travel into Pula and eat there!

Crystal clear sea for blissful swimming, luxurious surrounds, great food, peace and quiet, accommodating staff, plus an incredible conference venue. Such a memorable trip for all of us who shared the experience. Couldn't have picked a better venue.

It's a lovely location. Great customer service from all staff. the accommodation was spotless and tidy. The entertainment was tasteful and well thought out. As it is on the beach you get the best of both worlds, sea, and pool. Well done Hotel Flamingo, we will visit again.

I’ve never been so appalled by a hotel in my entire life. The hotel Flamingo is an absolute disgrace and should be avoided at all costs. My stay was not only horrendous, but it worsened my already fragile health. I’m currently battling cancer, something I made clear to the staff, yet they neglected me and ignored my desperate pleas for help. Despite sending clear evidence of the numerous issues I faced during my stay, the hotel didn’t bother to get back to me. It’s as if they couldn’t care less about the well-being of their guests. The level of neglect was shocking, especially considering the fact that I was unwell and under treatment. To make matters worse, the staff were incredibly rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. They showed no empathy or care, even after knowing my condition. It felt like they were going out of their way to make my stay as miserable as possible. Our room was an absolute disaster. The shower was broken, and every time we used it, water flooded the bathroom floor. I called reception multiple times to send someone to clean up the mess and repair the shower, but they only bothered to come a day later, long after the situation had become unbearable. The hotel’s facilities were in a deplorable state. The steps of the swimming pool were broken, the rail was loose and extremely unsafe, the toilet seat was broken, the toilet paper rolls were falling apart, and to top it all off, the towel provided in our room had blood and poo stains on it. It was beyond disgusting and completely unacceptable. I went on this trip with my family, and all of us were extremely disappointed and upset. This holiday was supposed to be a break for us, but instead, it turned into an extremely stressful ordeal. The situation was so unbearable that I had to purchase an extra ticket and return home after just two days, losing precious time and money. The environment at the hotel was so distressing that I had no choice but to leave for the sake of my health. The food was atrocious. The tea was cold, the quality of bread was very low, and most items were finished, even when we went early on the second day. There was no proper room cleaning, and the pool was absolutely disgusting, filled with hair, sand, and reeking of urine. It was so filthy that it was completely unusable. To add insult to injury, I booked this trip through Love Holiday, and I can’t stress enough—do not trust them. After multiple emails and calls to report my issues, they didn’t even bother to respond. They left me and my family stranded, forcing me to buy an extra ticket to get back to London. Their lack of support was infuriating and only added to the nightmare of this experience. The Flamingo Hotel is the epitome of neglect and indifference, and Love Holiday is no better. Both showed no care for their customers, and their behavior was appalling. I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place—and from Love Holiday.

Our stay at Hotel Flamingo was an absolute nightmare from the moment we arrived. The hygiene in the hotel is appalling – mouldy bathrooms, broken toilet seats, rust everywhere, and dirty towels. There was no shampoo provided, and to our horror, we found insects in the bed, dust covering every surface, and broken floor tiles. The pool was no better – the steps were broken and dangerous, the sunbeds filthy, and we even had to pay extra for pool and beach towels, along with the beach sunbeds. The breakfast was of a very poor standard with no refills provided. The hotel was severely understaffed, leading to us waiting over an hour just to have our orders taken in the restaurant and bar. Some of the reception staff were incredibly grumpy and unhelpful, adding to our frustration. Only a few of the hotel staff were willing to try and help. To make matters worse, there was no entertainment at the hotel, and absolutely nothing to do in the area – not even a decent cafe or restaurant nearby. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. We were so disappointed and stressed that we ended up booking and paying for a flight home on the second day, cutting short what was supposed to be a week-long holiday. To add insult to injury, the hotel has no proper system for allocating guest expenses. Upon checking out, we were charged for numerous items we never ordered, as other guests had fraudulently put their charges on our room. We had to constantly monitor our spending and document everything for proof, which is not something anyone should have to do on holiday. The hotel was falsely advertised as a 4-star by Love Holidays, with fake pictures and inflated ratings. Despite reaching out multiple times, Love Holidays has ignored all our calls and emails. This entire experience feels like a scam, and I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel or booking through Love Holidays to stay far away. They’ve taken our money and left us with nothing but stress and disappointment.

I recently stayed at Hotel Flamingo and it was an incredible experience! The beach was just steps away, with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and sunbathing. The hotel staff were super friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Our room had a stunning ocean view, and the amenities were top-notch. The beachside bar served amazing cocktails, and we loved the nightly entertainment. Highly recommend Hotel Flamingo for a perfect beach getaway!
