Great Value for the price point, Great staff and food. The suite rooms where we stayed had a lot of space and charm. The linen quality was also high compared to some other accommodations we have been to in Indonesia. Happy hour was really good and felt like a quality drink (spicy Margarita). The hotel seems to be expanding at the moment so there was some construction noise throughout the day but nothing outlandish. I'm excited to see it finished and visit again when its done. There is a mosque near by but they are everywhere in Lombok! Its nickname is the "Island of 1000 Mosques" so be aware that it is a common occurrence.

My partner and I stayed in El Tropico for 8 nights, and it is quite possibly the best hotel experience we have ever had. The hotel is as stated a tropical paradise. All the staff are genuinely warm and friendly, to the point of feeling like family during our stay. The food and beverage service is fantastic. The room was large and always spotless. The bed is so comfortable. We can not wait to return to the amazing El Tropico Hotel for our next visit to Lombok.

We really enjoyed staying here, the breakfast was delicious, the swimming pool was big and there were lots of places to relax, the staff were very friendly and attentive, the rooms were very very very clean

The room are suspicious, Chill and nice atmosphere, located on the main heart of kuta, walking distance to nice restaurants around.

A nice, clean place. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We booked without breakfast so I’m unable to comment on food/drink. They did refill my complimentary water bottle at the bar whenever I asked, which is always a nice touch. The bed in both rooms we stayed in was super comfortable, the rooms were really nice. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is because we found the hotel quite loud at nightime. On our first night, our room backed onto a noisy bar, with people partying and a building site. People were hammering at 11pm and the noise was echoing through my noise cancelling headphones. The hotel were good the next day and moved/upgraded our room. The new room was better but there was still a fair bit of noise from the hotel bar/other guests etc. Worth considering if you’re a light sleeper :)
