All-inclusive hotel, all rooms have sea view, perfect for vacation and relaxation. Except it’s a bit expensive, there’s really nothing wrong with it 😀 The Italian and Mexican restaurants for dinner are both delicious.
Almar Resort Luxury Lgbt Beach Front Experience

Horrible hotel! Stayed here for 7 nights for our 5 year anniversary. It all started at checkin. Before you get your room keys you’re forced to listed to a 30 min timeshare sales pitch. After we get our keys they put us in a room on the second floor. Floor 1 and 3 are being completely renovated and be renovated I mean gutted from top to bottom. 7am the next morning we are woken up to jackhammering and sledgehammers shaking our room! We decide to get up make coffee in the room and go talk to the front desk. We go to pour water in the coffee maker and it’s completely covered I mold! We go to the front desk and tell the man our situation. We are told that they are sold out, but (conveniently) they have a suite available for $140USD extra a night! We pay, cause we are 2000 miles from home and just want to have a decent rest of our vacation. We get to our room and it’s THE EXACT ROOM JUST ON A QUIET FLOOR! Not a suite! Not an upgrade. We go to the pool and invite 2 friends from a neighbor hotel for drinks/food at the pool. We all order drinks/food and 10 min later we are told that our friends have to pay $150USD to be at the pool!!! There’s literally 6 people at the pool besides us! We cancel our order and try to leave. We are told we still have to pay for the food/drinks we never received! Complete scam! They were never sold out by the way. The 7 nights we were there were saw maybe 20 people. Do not stay here!!! Worst vacation of my life!
Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta

The hotel is very close to the airport, it should be complete, the food and entertainment is complete, and the customer meets at the hotel. The only downside is that the hotel does not include breakfast and wifi. If it is all-inclusive, it will be perfect.
Casa Velas Adults Only All Inclusive
4.8/553 Reviews
My husband and I spent 9/13 nights of our honeymoon as Casa Velas. We chose this hotel because of its great reviews, and it was one of only a few adults only ‘highly rated’ hotels. We had a wonderful time, which, in most didn’t disappoint. Pros The location of this hotel is near the marina, you can walk there within 5 to 10 minutes. The area is very safe, it feels very secure and everyone in and around the hotel was very very very friendly. The staff are by far this hotels biggest and best asset. So friendly, accommodating (within what they can do). Ramon and Ulrise worked non stop all day. The rooms are beautiful and are set within ground surrounded by lush trees, flowers and many iguana’s The cocktails were amazing and are exceptional value under the all inclusive, they would make almost anything, even if this wasn’t on the main menu The pool, reception, entrance, gardens and restaurants are immaculate and are constantly being cleaned and tidied. Also some friendly coy carp and turtles (which you can feed) Room for improvement The menu options are limiting, especially if you are staying longer than 4 days. Whilst the food was delicious, we have had some even more amazing food outside of the resort, a more diverse menu would be great for those staying a little longer. Before you travel be sure to check whether there are any events or weddings on during your stay, this was the largest downside by far. When guests arrived for the wedding/event that lasted about five days, our experience was negatively impacted by having to have buffet options for food… the calm, peaceful ambience was also affected. It very much felt like as soon as the wedding parties arrived, other guests were left to experience someone else’s holiday/vacation. Tipping Maybe it is because we are Europeans, and expected tipping isn’t something that we are used to… but considering this is a high end hotel that included tips, it felt strange to then we having to sign for drinks and food and tipping. Not saying that the staff do not deserve to be rewarded for their hard work, this isn’t in question at all, but it did feel a bit off. Whilst we would 100% recommend this hotel to any friends or family staying. We would make the recommendation of a shorter stay as the menu got very repetitive and there’s so many amazing things to see in at around Puerto Vallarta. Value for money 8/10
Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center

While I love this hotel and have stayed 10+ times, my most recent experience was very disappointing. After check-in a woman approached me wearing a nametag that I believe said ”Fernanda” with the ”buganvilias resort” logo on it. She was older, maybe 46-56 years old with her hair braided in a ponytail behind her back. She tried to sell me the ”all inclusive” package (which I simply will never buy) and I politely declined ”no, thank you :)”. She pressured me harder and said ”what will you do on your vacation?” - obviously a silly question. I can enjoy myself without an all inclusive package. She then said ”what about WiFi?” and I stated ”The WiFi at this hotel is free...?” she said ”no, not anymore”. I then stated ”Well, the WiFi at this hotel is free for me, as I am Bonvoy Gold status” and she said ”no, not anymore”. I then made a frustrated face and she said ”Come on man, you're on vacation [so just let me upsell you!]”. She then placed her hand over her nametag and quickly walked away. I can tolerate being solicited, but I cannot tolerate being blatantly and repeatedly lied to. The WiFi at this hotel was in-fact free for all, with enhanced WiFi complementary for Bonvoy Gold members and above. Hopefully Fernanda isn't there the next time I visit.
