Of all the employees at the resort two stood out above the rest for their courteous, professional efforts. Aidan at the front desk was super helpful and attentive. He helped us navigate our outings with his local knowledge. When we had an issue with our room he was very helpful. Andrea at the Palapa restaurant was super efficient at seating us with a kind smile. No matter how busy it was she always greeted each group in a kind welcoming non rushed way. Bravo

Would not recommend this property to anyone! We decided to stay at the Club Paradise from the 6-12th of January after reading all the good reviews on this place and thought well this would be perfect for us with our family of 5. Well we were wrong, this place is so run down and outdated. The rooms need major upgrading to them. We ending up booking for the family suite and it was so tiny especially for a family so we had to end up paying more to get upgraded to a suite. Before making the decision on getting a suite we looked at one and the first thing I saw in the room was a cockroach so we decided to look at another and decided on that one. The food is gross and is always the same thing each day and it is cold, not ever warm just plan cold. The drinks aren’t even that good as well. Oh and don’t even try to get into there restaurants as they all have to be reserved the day of and on their app which is only open from 9-12 and if you don’t get on it at the very time they open the reservations nice try on getting a table at any of the restaurants, this also doesn’t make any sense as each time we walked past those restaurants during dinner time they hardly had anyone in there! The pools are all cold and not nice to be in. They have one swim up bar but it’s only for adults and it’s actually a big hot tub. It’s very over ran by Mexicans, there wasn’t many Canadians there. Each person we ran into had the same feelings as us about this property and were very upset about the place. They either need to shut down and do major upgrading or lower their star rating. This is not a 4 star resort this is like a 1 star resort. They don’t have anything going on during the day for kids to do and they only do shows for kids at like 8 or 9 at night which does not work when you have very little kids. They also have raccoons there that roam the resort at night and have a home over by the suites which is disgusting and not good especially if they become aggressive towards anyone. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I don’t understand why so many people think this is a great place because it is not.

Please avoid at all costs. The only great thing about the resort is the location. The buffets were not great at all, in my opinion. We barely ate the resort food. Also, just FYI—there is no air conditioning in the two buffets (Golden side and regular side). The regular side does have their buffet indoors, but it was musty and warm. The first night we arrived, our room had no A/C, and they were unwilling to move us due to no availability. So we ended up sleeping in a SUPER hot room with a ginormous fan blasting and a large hole in the closet ceiling. The second day, they were slow to help, but we had to escalate the issue by literally telling them we would take our business elsewhere because it was miserable. We finally got a new room by evening. The resort is rundown and old. The water pressure is not great. The employees were fantastic and so kind for the most part (except for when they wouldn't move us to a better room). Last time we went to PV, we stayed at the Occidental All-Inclusive, and gosh—the difference was literally night and day. Please steer clear from here unless you're okay with bad buffet experiences and potentially getting a room without A/C. Also!! I almost forgot, the resort only had 1 elevator that worked and would take forever to use... we literally decided to just haul all of our luggage down 4 flights of stairs versus waiting 20+ minutes to possibly use the elevator.

The show was great every night, highly recommend! Great for kids and families. You get what you pay for when it comes to the food and rooms but the restaurants were good, buffet not great! If you get a good deal on this plave go for it! Gracias !!!

This resorts need to add more restaurants, specially in the morning. There was always a long line in the morning for breakfast.

This place is terrible. The pool on the room top was cloudy with what looked like skin that had peeled off sunburnt people floating around. The water was so low it didn’t even go over the ledge into the filtration system. Then we went to the pool on the ground floor. Where people sat at ate food while in the pool and then left there plates to have a lizard and birds come and pick at it. Then when asked to pick it up. They left it on the loungers where birds picked up food and dropped it in the pool. The food was so bad and dry that I only ate like one or two things on the Buffett. The sback bar was a mad house with no sanitation. They made us wait two hours while they said our room was being cleaned and then when we got our room. Which was supposed to be to be a king. Was two double beds. So back to reception and moved. So maybe our room was ready? Security walks around and will tell you not to smoke in certain places but not tell people not to eat or drink and smoke in the pool. But if you smoke on a ground level patio. They will hassle you for that. There are two resorts on this property. All the good reviews are for the kid family side. But the bad ones are for the adults only side. So if wanting an adults only. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

Understaffed company, therefore little to no quality service. Clean rooms, poor food. I recommend coming here for the Beaches and using it as a way to go to other touristic places. Drinks are poorly done as well the food. Employee conversations were disgusting, publicly shaming their employees.
