Pier 57 Zona Romantica Puerto Vallarta

STAY AWAY! Very rude and unprofessional. He gave me very bad experience. You cant expect much from Mexico but the service there is very unprofessional. Carlos especially is disgusting! stay away!stay away!stay away!stay away!stay away!stay away!

This building has the best rooftop area I have seen in the Romantica Zona of PV. The elliptical pool and fire pit area are extremely nice. The drinks (cash only) are well priced and prepared by pleasant staff. The condo we stayed in (# 505) was very nice and had an incredible view. It has one bed with a pull out sofa. However, with this unit being ocean side, that meant that it also faced the bars. If you are one to go to bed before midnight, I hope you're not a light sleeper. This condo was the noisiest place I have ever stayed - no exaggeration. There is a bar adjacent to the building and all the noise comes directly into the room. Other bars are in the immediate area. If you're a night owl, then you'll be fine, but if noise bothers you (as it did me) than I would suggest getting a condo away from the ocean. Forget the view and enjoy a good night's sleep. For this reason, i woudl not stay here again.

Who closes a hot tub at night? Like we supposed to chill in the hot tub at night, ya know I like hot tubs past 10PM like *** I just want to hot tub at midnight. It’s really weird to close a hot tub at night…. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😇😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😇😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Perfect apartment (304) for a long weekend getaway for a small family. Full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 sleeping areas. Plus washer + dryer so you don't have to pack heavy. Great location if you want to be in the middle of town including tons of restaurants, shopping, the beach, and tour pick up spots. You don't need a car - you can uber to and from the airport or other locations outside of walking distance. Views are beautiful from the apartment - the rooftop pool views are spectacular. We watched the fireworks across the bay every night. Remember it's in the middle of the town - night time is loud and people are partying below the building on the street all night.

We travel to Puerto Vallarta every January and we usually stay at a little boutique hotel but this January we needed a kitchen so we chose a unit at Pier 57 privately owned. We had unit on the 3rd floor facing East (the back of the building) and for us it was perfect. When we arrived we were checked in early as we had arranged with our host. Very nice young man at the desk helped us and explained a few things to us before handing us a three page document with “rules” for the stay. We were asked to initial each rule, three pages worth without prior knowledge from the host. If you use a b&b service ask the host to send a pdf. of this document BEFORE the deadline for canceling your reservation. The “no guest” policy we signed vs. the policy the host posted were different. Pier 57 is in the most ideal location. Close to the beach, shopping, dining and entertainment. Having someone at the concierge desk is nice. The rooftop pool is the most amazing. The sunsets are gorgeous while sitting on a lounge or by the fire pits at night having a nightcap. We had the nicest waiter, Carlos. He was always coming over and asking if we needed anything, bringing drinks to us and he always made sure we had everything we needed. The stay was wonderful and I get why they have the “no guest” policy. Puerto Vallarta has become (or has always been) a little party town and I’m certain that guests have been in and out of Pier 57 by the droves. I do believe that treating every guest “threat” is a little off putting and exceptions could be made. I had a dinner planned with two chefs cooking my birthday dinner. Paid for and planned I had to cancel the day of because of the “no guest” policy. Tip: Get a pdf. of the document you have to sign and be very clear with your host about having that before check in. Imagine standing in the lobby with your luggage and being asked to sign a three page document. You are screwed if you don’t sign it.

Pier 57 is beautiful, but has the most rude staff. If you stay here and have friends who are staying elsewhere, the staff will not even let them come to visit. So much of PV is about hospitality, not Pier 57. There are so many other beautiful places in PV you can stay that have wonderful welcoming staff.
