This is our last night, my 11 year old daughter and I came to spend 4 days all inclusive and I have several opinions. I made the reservation and then I read the reviews and I was scared of what I was going to find, and nothing could be further from the truth. You check in at the Riosol hotel which is right next door, as it is owned by them, they give you the key and they explain everything very well. As you go with all inclusive (or with meals) you do them at the hotel, and the facilities (pool, etc.) you can use them without problem. So we really did not use the pool at Monteparaiso. Let's talk about these apartments. It is true that you can really tell that they are old, most of the furniture is half broken and the windows are dirty. But you can stay there, and in our case, we only came to sleep, shower... it was clean. But it is true that if they invested in new furniture, a bit of paint and above all, clean what you can't see, like the windows, because they hadn't been cleaned in months. It's the only complaint I have. I didn't see any cockroaches. It's true that it's October and it wasn't that hot, so I don't know what it's like in summer... Anyway, I came scared by the reviews about this and I put towels on the windows, sink, shower... I made a barricade. But it's true that due to the flowerbeds, etc... it's a general problem. I want to comment on the good things. If you can, come with all-inclusive because it's VERY worth it, since you do everything at the Hotel Riosol, which has surprised me a lot and I have to emphasize it... the quality of the food is luxurious. There isn't much variety, but it's enough to eat something different every day. Everything was fresh. The fruit was delicious, the meat, the fish,... the seafood and octopus salads, etc... the mussels... absolutely everything was exquisite. I want to highlight this because I have been to other all-inclusive hotels and many times they leave something to be desired. I give it an honor roll. The staff is great, especially a waitress with short brunette hair and a blonde with tattoos on her arm (I forgot to ask their names) because they were the ones we dealt with the most and they are lovely people. Very kind and friendly. I wanted to put it on record. Also the guys at the pool bar were lovely and the receptionist Soledad, who attended to us on arrival, was very professional, explained everything to us, clarified doubts, etc... More staff like that is needed. We were very happy with the treatment and everything in general. Next time we will stay at El Riosol, but we have no qualms about returning to Monteparaiso but with all inclusive, which is a slightly cheaper option and you would only come to sleep at Monteparaiso. As for the deposit, in my opinion it is a good idea to ask for it. You have to accept reality and be aware that, especially in summer, it is the Canarians themselves who destroy the apartments. (Mind you, I am Canarian) that is a fact, they are rented for 2 and 30 people come in, whether it is loud music, fights, etc... well, it is understandable that
