Hotel was awesome! It’s right by the sea, and our room had a fantastic ocean view. The pool was great, perfect for a swim or just chilling out in the sun. It's well-kept and a nice spot to relax. We loved the on-site resto/cafe. I had an americano and it was on par. It was a great place to start the day with its super cozy and welcoming vibe. For fun, they have a dart board and a Pinoy pool table. We had a blast playing both in the mornings with my family. Overall, Microtel Puerto Princesa was an amazing experience with its great location, awesome amenities, and fun activities. Highly recommend it for a laid-back seaside getaway!

The receptionist lady was amazing, kind and helpfulShe helped us get tours,taxi and was able to answer all our questions. She was just great... But the reception guy who helped us get a cab to the airport was dishonest, he increased the taxi fare to the airport and had the audacity to call the cab driver to tell him he overcharged us so he has to give him his share whilst we in the cab to the airport. Overall the hotel look old, the AC was noisy even the thing in the bathroom. We booked this because of beach access but the beach is not even for swimming.

The best thing about this hotel is its beachfront location, offering spectacular views and a charming atmosphere. Although there are a few minor maintenance issues, the hotel is a gem—beautiful and cozy. The price is quite reasonable, and the staff's attention is excellent. I would definitely stay here again. The sunsets and the experience of watching the tide come in and out are unforgettable. I give it a 10 out of 10.

Welcoming and very courteus. You will get what you paid for and even more. Its a fantastic place. Best staff in hole Puerto Princesa. This is the perfect place for people who just want to relax and having a really really good time.

The AC and fridge in my room were extremely noisy- could not hear the TV and made it very difficult to sleep. The hotel is quite isolated. Waited more than 1 hour for a very simple dinner, which was a child’s meal serving size, not sufficient for an adult. Breakfast had only a small amount of each choice available- 4 slices of bread, 2 dried up pieces of fish, 2 boiled eggs, a couple of melon slices, the coffee dispenser had to be tilted to get the dregs. The only food being replenished was rice. All in all a very disappointing stay - when all other hotels in the Philippines in this price range have been excellent.

Loved the amenities! Staff were so nice and very accommodating. Good for Staycations! Location is quiet and not-so far from the Town Proper (try booking in Backride Palawan, if you’re a budget traveller). I had a great stay! Thank you so much Microtel! Will be back soon!

Bad experience they are not attentive, they are not treated equally. When eating dinner there is plastic singing na baby but the taste is delicious.

The hotel staff are all polite, friendly and ready to assist. The room amenities are not top-notch and facilities show tear and wear and needs to be updated. There is also limited food options in the restaurant. But all these down-side can be overlooked because of the amazing beach front. It was so calm, serene and relaxing. I will definitely stay in this hotel in my next Palawan visit :)

Service was fine , the only problem is their internet cut off every 5 minutes and its so difficult for us since we have a business to run. The place is nice since its facing the sea but the building is a bit old so need to be renovated. Overall its a good place to stay !

The hotel is not new but the location is everything if you want privacy and a beautiful sunrise. The staff are very helpful and they can arrange for a tricycle or car to take you to different places. There are many tours also available with help from hotel staff. The beach is really not for swimming but for admiring and tanning. The swimming pool is a great way to keep cool. We liked our stay and would most likely stay here again.

Good front desk service. Amenities, not that good, even the hotel van service to and from airport need to pay extra fees. Food, the manager, sir Jun is very accommodating. However, the choice of food for breakfast even the serving dishes has no food warmer. Also, lots of flies roaming around the restaurant, hence, the food may be contaminated.

This is my second stay here and I have always loved the location of this hotel!
