Exceptional great service and the hotel is brand new and relaxed.

Had the best time at The Funny Lion! They provided complimentary airport transfers and bikes, which made getting around so convenient. The staff helped us book tours and rentals, making our trip hassle-free. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with free tote bags, drinks, coffee and fruits. The variety of complimentary fruity drinks was a delightful touch. They're SUPER accommodating. Shout-out to Desiree and their general manager, Mike. And especially, Livia that's been in contact with me via WhatsApp. She on top of everything. While the food is a bit pricey, the 999 Saturday dinner buffet was super worth it. Our room was impeccably clean with the most comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was spacious, very clean, and had excellent water pressure. We appreciated the bidet and the abundance of towels. The peaceful atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable. They also gave us complimentary cookies and friendship bracelets when we checked out and even brought us to the airport. As first-time visitors to Palawan, The Funny Lion gave us the best vacation ever. Highly recommend!

The best hotel, just no words!!!!! Worth all the money!!! The staff is top notch - friendly, they gave us gifts: Shopper, coffee, periodically brought cookies to the room, treated us to a cocktail upon check-in, and tied a bracelet on our wrist upon check-out - very nice. The territory and rooms are a separate aesthetic pleasure. Their own restaurant - very tasty!!!!

First of all: I am not very satisfied with this differential treatment. Before booking, I saw that it was free pick-up and drop-off, and I also saw that it was free pick-up and drop-off in the comments. I want to book the airport drop-off service in the morning! It is said that it will cost 800 pesos. Here, the airport is about two kilometers away from the hotel. I have lived in Manila for more than ten years, and the fare for two kilometers is less than 200 pesos. This is what I don’t like. I have stayed in many five-star hotels and four-star hotels on many islands, and there is no such charge. So in the end, I took the local tuk-tuk by myself! 150 pesos to the airport, within ten minutes. The hotel is in a deep alley, and there is not much food around! The restaurant in the hotel charges a high fee, and you will get tired of it after two days. The swimming pool is very dirty, so there is no entertainment in the hotel. It is very boring. It is said that the hotel is by the sea, but the sea water cannot be played. It is simply a stinky ditch. Stand by and take a look! The service is very good, and snacks are delivered every night! The water in the hotel is very unpalatable. I started to get sick on the day I went there, and I got better after I came back, but the thoughtful hotel waiter helped me find medicine! There are not many types of breakfast. It looks hygienic and tastes good, but it's basically cold. Anyway, it fills your stomach! Let's evaluate the entire Palawan Island! This is the worst place in the Philippines among the many islands I have visited. It is greedy and the consumption level is extremely high, even higher than Manila City. The hotel called a car for me and charged 750 pesos within 10 kilometers. I returned to Manila Airport today and it was 265 pesos within 10 kilometers. The commercialization is too serious and annoying. I never want to go to this place again. It's a serious rip-off! There is nothing fun!

To be honest, the tourism resources in Puerto Princesa are not among the best in Palawan, but the initiative and enthusiasm of the hotel staff are refreshing. It is worth a visit.

Excellent hotel, when the second part opens it will be even better. Spacious rooms, beds with very comfortable mattresses and pillows, slept great. Breakfast buffet, not very varied, but always tasty and fresh natural products. Nice pool, cleaned perfectly. Specific sea. Although the hotel is on the beach, there are strong low tides and it is not always possible to swim, although when the tide is in, the hotel provides free kayaks and snorkeling trips (by the way, special thanks to Dustin, the instructor (special thanks to Dustin water instructor), who took us to the reef and to the sandbank where we looked at fish, starfish, he helped film us on GoPro while we were diving. ) this is also free. The hotel also provides bicycles and helmets for free (by the way, everything is new and high-quality), we rode to the market and the city center, bought fruit. (12 minutes by bike to the market, 30 minutes to the center) I am very glad that we came here. A wonderful hotel

I thought the single beds would be small but I was wrong, they were large and comfortable. The service is 100% recommended.

A wonderful place. It is far from the center (9min by tuk tuk) but it is a total disconnection. The staff is super friendly, EVERYONE. The exquisite food. The room 10/10. The truth is that you will not regret it.

GORGEOUS !! I don't even know where to start when talking about this establishment because it is so fabulous! The staff took great care of us from the beginning to the end of our stay. Friendliness, availability and professionalism that I have never found in another hotel! I even got a small slice of cake for my partner’s birthday! From the gardener to the receptionist, everyone is pleasant, courteous and incredibly kind! The room is spacious, well thought out and the bedding is pleasant! The common areas are clean. The managers have really thought of everything: bikes available for a walk, beautiful natural stone swimming pool, garden in progress but already well done, canoeing and kayaking also available... in short, everything to feel good! The hotel has lots of little touches during our stay: we received little things to eat every day! And a little extra which for me is extra because I'm a big coffee lover: a coffee bar run by a lovely little woman. He made us love our first stay in Palawan and made us want to come back! THANKS !
