The location is good, it's close enough to the airport that it's walkable or it'll be around 50 pesos in a tricycle (expect to pay a bit more with the white tax).
There is a mall nearby Robinson's with a good supermarket. Also some good coffeeshops if you need to work.
Be sure to bring cash as even places like McDonald's often have issues with card machines
There is a nice beach on the East Coast (photos here) as well as the Church of Immaculate Conception which is nice to see while in town.

Very cozy, new, clean hotel! It would be more correct to say a guest house - the owner lives nearby, in his own house. Accordingly, you receive family care!!! If you wish, they will prepare delicious, home-made food for you. Personally, this is where I tried several traditional Filipino dishes for the first time - delicious! In general, only positive impressions! The main road is 700 meters away, in principle not a problem at all. By the way, you can book different tours directly from the hotel. Definitely recommend!!!

RRUMAANAHWe wanted to experience the beauty of nature and be close to the underground river tour so we booked this place. This place is absolutely beautiful and everything here is organic. The breakfast is served on time in your villa and everything is freshly harvested and cooked for you. If you want peace, tranquility and the sound of nature then this is the perfect place for you and your loved ones. This place is 1.5 hours away from the airport but 7 minutes away from the underground river tour. It was well worth our stay and we will be back. The staff was absolutely helpful and did everything they could to accommodate us as our check in time was 2am. Thank you Sheridan Organic Farm

GGuest UserОчень комфортное, чисто и уютно. Персонал очень доброжелателен и отзывчив помог решать возникающие вопросы и подсказывал места для осещения. Отель работает уже 8 лет со слов менеджера, но при этом оснащение как-будто новое: тихий, но мощный кондиционер, создающий комфорт в комнате, отличная сантехника, вместительный холодильник, установка с питьевой водой. Территория ухоженная и безопасная, на ночь ворота зарываются для предупреждения доступа незнакомцев.
В отеле останавливались на одну ночь и далее ехали в путешествие по островам на 4 дня. Персонал разрешил оставить багаж на время путешествия на ресепшене, за что отдельная благодарность.
Сам отель расположен на удалении от основной дороги и есть небольшая проблема поймать трицикл или такси до аэропорта. Однако персонал был любезным и помог это сделать сходив до дороги и договорившись с трициклом.

The location is moderately good - the central embankment is about 15 minutes on foot, no more.
The nearest large supermarket is no more than 10 minutes away.
There are low-rise buildings around.
Our house itself is 3-storey, for 1-2 guests, I don’t know about the 3rd floor.
New house.
Freshly renovated.
The room has tiles on the floor, air conditioner (windowed, but new and not particularly noisy), LCD TV, refrigerator!!, kitchen surface, sink, dishes, kettle.
In the shower - everything is as it should be, a toilet and hot water. Another table/chair.
There are a couple of benches in the yard to hang out if it's not hot. It is possible to buy cold beer/water.
The bed is great. Lots of pillows. It’s quiet outside the window, there are roosters, but they didn’t crow at night.
This is the fifth hotel on this trip to the Philippines in the same price category and it is the best so far.
I recommend it, I'm ready to stay there again.

The service of the girls that carry it is excellent, very pleasant and sympathetic (Gemma and Jenni) and they help you in everything but they don't have drink service if you want a refreshment they'll go to the store, they don't have anything but water.
The room is not cleaned, the towels are not changed, you have to ask for everything even the wc paper.

VVanCitadel (the name of one of the owners) is probably the ”best for the money” mini-resort in Puerto Princesa! My room had a king bed, was comfortable and included satellite TV, a fridge and sink area. The grounds a pool are clean, neat and look great. The pool is amazing for a property size. Even though the Citadel is located 1.5km away from one of the main roads and the Robinson's Mall there are small food stores nearby for basic needs. It's easy to get a tricycle from the road near the property to just about anywhere in the Puerto area. Do ask one of the locals what the fare should be to the placey you want to go.
Francois and Citadel, the owners are very nice and helpful. You will enjoy your at the Citadel!
BONUS TIP: Just up the road (north) to the left is a food store and cafe on the right side of the road. Inside is a dental office run by Dr Joy Zapanta. She offers a full range of dental services. I got my teeth cleaned for about US$20. I could see dental tourism as a future business for Dr Joy. Enjoy your stay at the Citaldel and get all your dental work done!

LLizeka YonelaIdeal for solo travelers and couples without babies. The place is squeaky clean but there is a shared shotlet bathroom. Still very clean. It’s located next to a busy road so I couldn’t sleep all night with the tricycles passing by and there was also a baby from one of the guests that was crying but not too much. If you like sleep and you’re a light sleeper don’t go there. The location is not great cos of this.

BBhrandonThe room looks very old, the mattresses are foam, the plugs generate little confidence, the truth is that for the little you pay you could say that it is normal, don't expect much.
The bathroom is another world, the toilet bowl does not have a base to sit on, so it is very unhygienic when using it, either that or urinate and do your business without touching the bowl.
The shower does not have much pressure, so if you are going to take a shower it is better to use the faucet under the shower and fill a bucket and bathe with the bucket of water.
The door to the women's bathroom is broken from below, so it can cause a bit of insecurity, although I honestly don't think people will care much.
