My experience was horrible and i will not ever consider another stay at Cofresi Palm Beach & Spa Resort. First off the A/C in my room did not work properly or was not able to reach a temperature that was cool enough to keep me from sweating in the room even at night. the problem was a simple fix (the unit was low in freon) and i know this because i'm a Electrical Contractor with some experience in A/C repairs. I begged for four days straight for the unit to be fixed and at the end of the fourth day I checked out and went to find me a room with A/C. They asked me to sign a paper stating that my reason for leaving was not due to anything that Cofresi Palm was at fault for. They at the end of the fourth day offered to place me in another room with two beds but that is not what i paid for nor did i want to sleep away from my Fiancé. To top it off i had to pay for the full stay and i was told that no money will not be returned to me no matter what the reason was for me to leaving. Fother more i did not like the fact that you have to eat in a outdoor restaurant and the only air moving is like a heater on you. You are not allowed to bring food back to your room and eat. there are many other negative things that i can mention but i'm going to stop there because i'm getting piss off again.

Everything was fine in the facilities, the problem was the penalty they charged me for being Dominican. You should charge everything for the same reservation and not have the awkward moment at check-in time.

This is a huge resort. You walk forever to get somewhere, if you do not take their shuttle. The shuttle service was great though. Woken up many nights by Partiers. Power was disconnected in my room for 3.5 hours. Literally no beach and very rough waters. They try to get you to become VIP members. Overall, safe and good. Staff amazing

Some of the staff was great. My daughters room got flooded. My sons room the shower didn't work. They did change them from room after speaking to reception. The food was great. And the service in the buffets was great.

The rooftop pool was beautiful with great views all around. I wish the beach area was larger or nicer waters to be in, it was churning pretty good when we were there. There are A LOT of stairs and inclined walking, be prepared.
