The hotel is a two-story building with no elevator. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is rich, and the location is also very good. The disadvantage is that it is not soundproof, and you can hear the conversation next door clearly.

It’s one of the best places to stay at. The rooms are perfectly equipped and comfortable. Breakfast awesome with choices. But best of all they are so very helpful and friendly! Our car got rammed from behind and we were at a loss not knowing Spanish and they came to our rescue time and again. It was a traumatic experience so we decided not to self drive but have someone drive for us. Next day to Torres del Paine….they drove us, arranged with our host there to organize a driver with car to take us around and drop us off at Porto Arenas. We were over our trauma by then. Returning too we stayed at Rufus and were dropped off at the airport next day. Most helpful. Friendly. Beautifully done rooms! Coffee anytime! What more does one want?

Lovely hospitality and an outstanding value for money. Friendly staff. Breakfast, buffet style provides all it's needed to start the day to your trekking experience around. High speed internet is available and the location is perfect. I truly recommend this place

I booked a room but they insisted that I was only entitled to a bed in a room with strangers, not because I made a mistake, but because their strategy is to claim that when a person books a room, the person actually booked a bed in a room with strangers regardless of the fact that the reservation says room, not bed.
