Amazing staff, extremely friendly and very professional. Right on the beach, although the beach is a little dirty, not so nice. However, it's a cheap ride to the beautiful White Beach. The spa attached to the resort was also great! Food was good. Would definitely recommend!

I'd like to graciously comment that to some extent, we had a good and fulfilling stay except for an uncomfortable experience in meeting a few ”defensive” staff of Jack Daniel Apartments. I would kindly suggest that next time, please welcome your guests warmly first before telling it to their face the cost of (e.g.) extra mattress for each night, missing bath towel, etc. I think it's intimidating to confront the guests with ”this and that prices” when they have just arrived. I regret to say that some staff were defensive in their explanation. Another intimidating act was the suggestion of Ms. Jocie for us to book another room with two superior bedrooms, when our booking confirmation stated 4 adults and 4 children. It was just relieving when she finally honoured the Agoda Booking Confirmation, but not after hours of long discussions 😢. Anyhow, I wasn't very glad to pay Php 2,000. for two extra mattresses for our additional two school children; and even this amount is high. We liked the swimming pool and the gardens. The property must have seen long years but well maintained. Despite my experience with a few intimidating staff, I'd like to thank Jack Daniel Apartments.

Process: Go to the luxury family room scheduled for diving on National Day. It is about 100 meters away from SABANG beach. The entrance to the mountain for the first time is not easy to find. Breakfast has American and noodles. The American default is 2 slices of grilled meat, 2 fried eggs, 2 slices of toast, small sauce jam and butter; if you want noodles, cook noodles; Overall rating: Very good Advantages: good service attitude and good sanitation; environment is good, there is a drop, and the vegetation is rich; the rooms are basically detached houses, and the rooms on the hill can overlook the entire SABANG beach; quiet and ecological, and there are insects calling at night Sound, there will be cuckoos flying to the balcony in the middle of the night, and geckos can often be seen outside. Disadvantages and suggestions: It is not convenient to go diving without a safe, it is recommended to add a small safe; add a clothesline on the balcony to dry clothes; add a mosquito killer;

We stayed at Spets Garden hotel for 3 days, and booked the 2 bedroom family room and 2 jr deluxe suite for my mom and aunt. The food was great, the room is clean, the family room is gorgeous with a nice view of Sabang beach. The Hotel Manager, Mark is very accommodating as well as the hotel staff. We felt well served and the place feels so exclusive for us. Though the family room is located on the top, its like climbing a 7th floor, but its worth it because of the very nice view .We rented out a jeepney to bring us to white beach the whole afternoon and return in the evening. We both enjoy sabang and white beach during our stay. We will definitely come back.

We stayed at Blue Crystal Beach Resorts for two weeks. We had the most wonderful time resting, sightseeing, island hopping and walks around the neighborhood. Breakfast is free which makes it taste even better, hahaha! On the serious side, the encounters we have had with the staff are phenomenal! Greets you with the sweetest biggest smile!!! Always asking if there is anything we need for our room, prepared our meals accordingly, at times even gave us the option if there is anything we wanted to eat out of the menu. They even go above and beyond their call of duty to ensure we have eaten before they leave for the night, how amazing is that! Truly unheard off! Thank Dolor and Annalyn for going the extra mile so we didn’t starve for the night. Thank you to Lucy and Ram for preparing our meals according to our dietary guidelines and make taste yummy! I need a new vocabulary. Having previously used all the superlatives to describe other resorts, I need new ones, as this is an order of magnitude beyond all previous resort vacations. The physical resort, the food, the service, the diving, the attitude of the staff, everything. I was met at the airport, guided through the ferry terminal, picked up at the ferry landing, taken to the resort, and greeted by name, by everyone, all week. At no time was I ”just another dollar”, and at no time was any member of the staff less than entirely cheerful and helpful. I could get used to this, real easy... It's as if I were a valued guest, instead of just a customer. Imagine that. To make this shorter for those who don't want to read the rest of this... I began my plans to return on the way home. I rarely go anywhere outside of the USA twice, (been there, done that..) Not this time. I am going back and I will bring as many friends as I can. It's 14 hours on a jet from LAX to Manila, and 4 more hours after that. I hate travel, but this was worth it. I'll take Philippine Airlines again next time too. They don't treat you like cattle, sheep or dirt. I have now felt respect while travelling, and I like it! The flight wasn't so bad. I am 6” tall, weight 240, and was comfortable in economy. Free wifi, a tv with free movies, tv shows, music..etc.. a very pleasant flight, in both directions. Food OPTIONS! You get to choose. Wow. On arrival at Marco Vincent, I was greeted by name, shown my room, a crate was outside my door to put my dive gear in, it was the last time I handled it all week. My room was large, extremely clean, super comfortable with a small fridge full of water, a table w 2 chairs, a big shower, AC unit, very firm mattress, spotless soft white sheets, a 32” TV with plenty of channels and it was quiet. All meals were as good as I have had anywhere. This place only has 32 rooms, so the buffet menu is not extensive, but I always found more than enough of what I like to eat. The quality and presentation was always top notch. The quality of the food extends to the dive boat, Big Beth. They have a chef aboard and those meals are the same quality as at the resort. Remember, this is a day boat, and they have a chef aboard serving freshly made gourmet meals. (Sure beats grabbing a sandwich at Walmart on the way to the lake....) The diving itself was like nowhere else. I saw things I didn't know existed.. an electric clam? WOW! Nudibranchs, mantis shrimp, lion fish (where they belong), a few octopi, at least three, maybe five, different morays, frogfish, giant clams, miniature seahorses, scorpionfish, colors that I can't describe...more different fish than I could list in a week... Every dive was something new, and all conducted from a really nice boat, the nicest boat I saw there. Big, clean, outfitted for diving with camera stations, charging stations, camera tanks, full emergency gear, oxygen, AED. not to mention the galley where the chef w

This was my second stay at the Mermaid Resort. I am happy to have visited again. The location is on the main road. It's close to the bay but just above the noisy restaurants and bars. The penthouse rooms offer a nice view of the bay and a giant outdoor whirlpool tub. Air conditioning is a modern split mini with remote control - great! The bed has a memory foam mattress and duvet-type comforter. The bathroom has an enormous tub/shower. There are two shelves for toiletries, etc. Everything was very clean. There is a large TV with lots of channels. Internet speeds are solid: 5 mbps down, 6mbps up. The staff are terrific. They arranged a water taxi for me and a transfer to Manila. I'd be happy to return.

1. Hotel location: 900 meters away from the white sandy beach, you can walk along the highway for 15 minutes, or walk along the beach through a reef, about 25 minutes. 2. Hotel environment: Have your own beach at least 50 meters, very suitable for watching the sunset of the sea, and falling asleep listening to the sound of the waves. Unfortunately, the beach has a lot of pebbles and the sand is relatively thick, which is not suitable for swimming. The waves during my stay in the past few days were relatively big, and it was not suitable for swimming. I could only swim in the hotel pool 3. Hotel facilities: the room is spacious and bright, facing the sea, there is a balcony with green plants and a sofa bed, you can lie down and chat and watch the sea view. I booked at Jalyns for 5 days, & stayed 2 weeks. It is 5 minutes ride out of sabang & 10 mins to puerta galera. A perfect distance to escape the hustle & bustle, but also close enough not to be inconvenient. They also have mopeds for hire. The owners & staff are friendly & helpful and make you feel welcome. Leah was amazing with my booking, sorting everything out promptly by messenger. It has many room types, a restaurant and 2 swimming pools. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay & would recommend Jalyn's resort.
