Casalay Boutique Villas and Dive

My husband, my best friend and I all enjoyed our stay at Casalay for 5D4N! The place was gorgeous! The staff were all friendly and accommodating + the view, ambiance and tranquility was top notch. We loved how there are tuktuk services besides the boat to the pier and other areas of interest! It was our first trip to Puerto G and we would recommend staying at Casalay to our friends/anyone who asks! I love how the complimentary breakfast menu had a wide array of sections to choose from and I managed to try different meals every day. The resort is nearer to Sabang beach (approx. 10-15 mins ride), whereas White Beach is a little further (30 mins or so) but definitely worth the visit. We also did our island hopping and ate to our heart's content ☺️ My best friend and I celebrated our birthdays in Casalay, and the team went above and beyond to make our day extra special. I would love to thank the team for making sure our requests were attended to and I hope that we see them again the next time we visit, we will definitely stay again when we visit Puerto G! Casalay Resort truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff who made us feel like family. Everyone was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring — we especially loved catching up with them after our daily activities. It’s those small, personal touches that made our stay so special and unforgettable. The resort itself is a peaceful and beautiful escape — the villas are charming and surrounded by nature. Breakfast was always delicious and filling, the perfect way to start each day. We do have a few small suggestions that might make future stays even better: 1. Blackout curtains on the villa verandas for those who like to sleep in. 2. Clothing hooks in the shower or changing rooms would be super convenient. 3. It would be great to have an option for two queen beds in rooms, especially for friends traveling together. 4. And if all villas are fully booked, we think it would be such a lovely idea for the resort to organize a long dinner or a small evening activity for all guests to connect and enjoy the evening together under the stars. Overall, we had an amazing experience and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you again to the entire Casalay team for making our stay so warm, relaxing, and memorable. Very remote location but amazingly comfortable. For a couple that is a diver and not but wants to learn, it's perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff, bit of a journey to go to Sabang but the secludeness makes the adventure in and out well worth it. My travels were in August, the rainy season, and the diving was okay.

very fun diving trip in Puerto Galera, our dive master Kristian was friendly and helpful! Lots of stairs so be prepared for a workout, and bring your own amenities, as there are no shops nearby. Food at Casalay is really good!!

What a great find this resort is: it‘s located in a spectacular and calm place. They offer a boat service to Sabang and PG, but it’s also possible to get there by tricycle and a short walk. The villas - every room is a villa - are spread across a wide area on a hill side. The rooms are very comfortable, air con is quiet, shower is instantly hot and has a rare feature: pressure! Staff are exceptionally friendly, gorgeous! The food was mostly good and they even have a serious espresso machine (producing a very decent espresso….after my visit 😉). The dive shop made a good impression to me too, gear is in good shape and the guides were friendly and attentive. They also brought us to Verde Island, much appreciated. I loved the place, I‘ll be back!
