Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Golf & Spa Resort

The Good.....Great family hotel. Rooms are huge (we had junior suite with sea view) with walk in closet and large bathroom. Powerful shower and whirlpool bath. The toiletries were ample and luxurious as were the bathrobes and slippers. Free, fast wi-fi. Lovely large balcony. Bed very comfortable and super king. Free tea/coffee in the room and well stocked mini bar. Lovely housekeeping staff (one day I was on the balcony engrossed in a book and when I went back indoors, the staff had been in without disturbing me!) Buffet ( we were HB) was plentiful and varied. I can't fault the food! The area is walkable if you are active. The bad....... The doves at mealtimes make eating al fresco really uncomfortable. You cannot step away from the table or the plates are inundated with hungry birds. They poop on the chairs and on your clothing while you are eating, so unless you take a whirlygig type deterrent, you may want to eat indoors. Not sure why they dont have a visiting falcon handler as they do in many other resorts. The decor is dated (but very clean) and the carpets in the corridors are in dire need of an upgrade. The evening entertainment leaves a lot to be desired. TV's didn't work but we didn't need them anyway.

We stayed as a family, 4 adults and 1 children aged 8. We weren’t sure what to expect for children, but we were delighted with how much was available if you wanted it. We received a warm friendly yet professional greeting and check in. We booked superior sea view rooms and that is what we got. Amazing views , clean , comfortable and very spacious. We also booked half board. The main restaurant is buffet style and themed each evening. The food was really good and there was plenty of choice. We also tried the Faro restaurant Al la carte. The food here was amazing. Well worth trying. There are at least 3 pools and never a shortage of sun beds. There is a great pool bar for lunch and a lovely beach at the back of the hotel. 2 of us brought our golf clubs and the course across the road was fantastic to play. We managed two rounds, but if you book Tee Times, book after 11.30 as the shuttle bus doesn’t start until 11. However, taxis are cheap. Overall for us, a great place to stay as a family. Clean, spacious, good food, reasonable prices and a great location. We are booking a week in June again next year.

This was my parents and I's first holiday to the Canary Islands and this hotel did not disappoint making it better than I ever imagined! The hotel was beautiful, food was amazing, live music every night, housekeeping team was fantastic along with the rest the staff as they provided excellent service⭐️ From just arriving at the hotel, Patxi greeted us with a warm smile and helped with our luggage. Gloria from reception was so lovely checking us in. She even got us a later checkout which my parents and I fully appreciated The food and beverage service in this hotel was also amazing! Fabiano from the pool restaurant was very efficient with his service. Antonio always greeted us with a kind smile and helped us whenever he can. And finally, Leti, she served us for my parents’ anniversary dinner and my mom’s birthday dinner. She was absolutely astounding! Her bubbly personality and always checking on us if we are having a good time really made our dinners feel more special Lastly, I have to say a big MUCHAS GRACIAS to Carlota! Before we even arrived, she already helped me so much in organising all the activities and amenities for our holiday. Such as with the birthday hamper, cakes, decorated tables, nearby entertainments, and all in between. She really is a gem in Sheraton Fuerteventura and I hope that the hotel knows this. I see her all the time greeting the guests with her big smile and making them feel welcomed from morning to night. She really has the Hospitality spirit within her☺️ Definitely will come back! I miss it already

We recently returned from a week's family holiday, staying in a junior suite on a Half-Board basis with our two teenage children. The room was spacious for us all, with comfortable beds, and cleaned daily. The food at breakfast and evening is plentiful and fresh with a great selection. We ate lunch at the Veranda Restaurant on three occasions and again the food was lovely. Plenty of sun loungers by the pool and always available, even in the afternoon. The staff at the hotel are fantastic, they work tirelessly and are a credit to you. This was our third stay here, our last visit being 8 years ago and we will be back again but sooner! If you're reading this and wondering whether to stay here or not - book it! A beautiful hotel in a great location and a lovely relaxing holiday!

We have just got back this morning and had the most amazing holiday. The hotel is fabulous. The staff can't do enough for you. There were loads of sunbeds choice around the pool no matter what time you went during the day - no need to reserve a bed. The pool area was clean and the gardens lovely. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was perfect. Plenty of room for the 4 of us, had a jacuzzi bath and a large balcony with choice of chairs and sunbeds. The restaurant served brilliant choice of food. I am not a seafood eater but there was an impressive choice of that aswell as meats, and the deserts. The breakfast was delicious could not get over the choice of pastries, pancakes, fry up, fruits, yogurt and cereals etc. Family entertainment was brilliant, we saw acts like magic shows. There was also a singer on in the evenings in the Piano Bar. The daytime entertainment was great aqua aerobics, pool volleyball, yoga, aswell as other games. Also has a games room with pool tables etc. Location is excellent we got off plane and after picking up our luggage we were in the hotel within 15 mins. It's on the beach and about 30 min walk along the coastal path to the harbour and town. We had 2 days of cloudy weather but didn't spoil our holiday one bit. We would definitely go back and will be booking again. Thank you for a fabulous holiday Sheraton!

Mostly good, some frustrations though By far the best thing about the hotel was the staff for us, particularly the reception staff and particularly particularly Carlos who literally can't do enough to help you. Top man The hotel is very attractive, very big and nicely located, the best part of the beach is right in front of the hotel and a great little restaurant on the island opposite (Chiringuito?). We were B&B and breakfast was amazing. Everything you could possibly need and more. Cereal, fruit, yoghurt, veg, meat, eggs, cakes....the list goes on. All really good quality too The rooms are nice and beds comfortable although for a family of 3 it's a bit of a squeeze in one bed and the camp bed was pretty much unusable. The bathroom was fab and huge, really nice walk in shower and bath. The heated pools are great, including a large jacuzzi type section. It wasn't warm enough for the non heated pool while we were there but there was plenty of room anyway and loads of beds etc. The hotels towels were nice too and a nice touch. Everything was clean and tidy. WiFi was hit and miss for us and the main reason for a 4 star rather than 5, it was very frustrating at times depending on your location in the hotel. The staff make this hotel what it is though.

Spent the New Year here and had a superb time. Excellent staff, great room and overall a lovely place for some winter sun.
