Got a nice sea view at the common area. (I saw fireworks at night because of their festival).
Since it's bear to the playa Chica, you can just go swimming there and look your stuff in the hostel without worrying getting stolen. Very nice for solo travelers! Btw it really work snorkeling or swimming to see the fish there!!!
It's also near to the bus stop las Vista and the shopping mall so you can get to playa Blanca/arricefe/airport/any tours you joined easily.
Have laundry and drying service for 10 euros (but you have to ask for the staff at the reception).
The reception staffs don't speak English well but they try their best to communicate with me with Google translate, which I appreciate.

Located in a good location, around a wide variety of restaurants and restaurants,
near an interesting beautiful beach Playa Chica
Good terrace for breakfast (pizza heated in the microwave with tea and a beautiful view of the sea-ocean)
The common kitchen corner is equipped with everything you need - refrigerator, microwave, kettle, capsule coffee machine (though without capsules)
The main drawback, of course, is the lack of a toilet and shower in the room - they are shared by several (few) rooms. There was no queue
At the same time, there is a washbasin in the room (at least in mine)
An overnight stay before a flight is perfect.

errible place. The women who works there is super super rude. She actually tried to kick us out even though we had paid. We shown her the confirmation but she told us to get out. We had to pay cash as we was extending a night stay. Because of her stupidity we paid twice and as she never answer the phone from ********** we can’t get a refund on the money paid. Awful place. If running around on the floor too.

I was made feel very welcome when I arrived at Pension Magec. The hospitality I received from the management and other guests was amazing. Its a very friendly place. The property is very clean and my room was cleaned everyday. The management are extremely helpful. The management will go out of their way ensure that guests needs are met all times. Carla is lovely as are everyone else works there including Sandi the manager The view from the top veranda is stunning. The guests can sit and have a drink and chat together on the veranda. As a solo traveller you would never be lonely and its very safe. Everyone talks to each other when up on the veranda. You are made feel welcome by both management and other guests at all times. There is always someone to talk to. I felt we were like a big happy family. There is free tea and coffee at the property. I would highly recommend Pension Magec as its very central. The room is clean and very close to beaches and restaurants. We only stayed two nights and they had a nice detail of buying a small cake for my friend for her birthday (a very nice surprise). Also all good. It is true that we did not spend much time in the room but it is enough to spend a few days enjoying the island

I was between August and September. A simple and not very big pension, but very welcoming. Very kind staff. Excellent wifi. Not very big rooms, but still nice. I recommend it if you are not pretentious, then it depends on the type of visit you do.
