Visited family staying here ..lovely pool and apartments .. very clean and modern. The pool bar is an excellent addition run by Nelly. He serves amazing food, especially the chicken wraps, as was the strawberry daiquiri and the baby Guinness shots. Don't know how he manages it all on his own, but the chips too, like triple cooked Also excellent 80's music running in the background

First time staying at Villa Canaima and certainly won’t be our last! Such a lovely little complex, so quiet and relaxing. The apartments are well equipped with comfortable beds and nice reclining chairs on the balcony. The lady on reception was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The cleaners work so hard and are always so happy! Special shout out to Nelly who runs such a great pool bar! Thank you for a fantastic 2 weeks stay!

As allways villa canaima was the perfect break, we stayed for 2 weeks this time from March 29 to April 12. Apt was spotless and well equipped, the drinking water tap is a great help. We love the beach which is so close and perfect for swimming. All the staff are so friendly and I enjoyed practicing my spanish with Lissett. Mucheos gracias.

Another Excellent and peaceful stay, the rooms are comfy and clean with enough cooking utensils provided to cook with if you want to. There are Good views of the sea and over Matagorda. The Maids are always cheerful and pleasant and do a great job thank you

Just back from a week at Villa Canaima, lovely apartments, very clean. Comfortable sofa, great walk in shower, and loved the drinking water tap. Although we had a late flight really appreciated that we could check in on line and were sent details of which apartment we were in and how to access it. It would have been helpful to have the outside light on. Very quiet and within easy access to beach and places to eat. I was in the second bedroom and think it would have been nice to have a mirror. Great holiday

The best apartments that I will continue to return to. They have a lovely peaceful atmosphere and always feel great to come back to. Apartments are exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff team are friendly and helpful. Reception is staffed Monday to Saturday and always willing to help.lovely little pool bar for drinks, breakfast and lunch if you don’t want to tear yourself away from the pool. They offer an excellent suitcase storage service so it is is carry on bags only for us!

Really well equipped apartments. All utensils, even cork screw, only missing egg cups. Apartments are. Like new and spotless. Kettle, microwave, oven, grill, hair dryer. Kitchen cleaning products and cloths. Big fridge freezer woth ice tray. Shampoos. Big thick towels, walk in shower. Fresh filtered water on tap to fill your flask Spare pillows, comfy mattresses Warm air con for evening. Free safe! Huge corner couch, flat screen TV with HDMI inputs for fire stick. Good signal with vodaphone for netflix or use free WiFi. Spacious private balconies with reclining chairs. No card in slot nonsense so you can leave things charge if you pop out. This place gives more than it takes. Lots of steps if on top floor but excellent disabled access to pool from ground floors. Lift goes to floor two. We were on floor 3. I use a walking stick but the hand rails are very strong so managed. Pool Area - Spotless Sa Miguel e3 a pint, cocktails 2 for 10e Fantastic menu at pool bar. Large portions. San Miguel just 3 euros a pint. 10 minute walk to centre, with every type of restaurante, 2 Irish bars for footy. Recommend the Japanese and book La Carmencita del Puerto. 8 euros for taxi to Porta Del Carmen Harbour. 12 to 15 to airport. This place is a returner! Thanks to the cleaners, reception staff, owners and Nelly at the pool bar. Thanks for the complimentary cheese and NYE bubbly Feliz Ano Nuevo

Another enjoyable stay at apartments villa Canaima we stayed on the 3rd floor which has a perfect view of the pool and the sea the apartments are central to the commercial centre and lots of restaurants in the Matagorda area which you can easily walk to .The new spar supermarket in the shopping centre is a big plus. We really enjoyed chatting to returning guests that we have seen before which have been coming to this complex for years, also a big tip when arriving at the airport just jump into a taxi it’s a very short drive and very inexpensive our apartment was cleaned to a very high standard well done to everyone keep it up see you again in February for three weeks if you’re returning guests you can leave a bag or a case for your convenience. We would like to say a special thankyou to Nellie he has recently taken over the bar very good friendly service, drinks and food Gary and Tina

Excellent as always, a home away from home. My wife and I have stayed here twice a year for the last few years and are always happy with our stay. Great location, near the beach, bars and restaurants, yet far enough away for a lovely peaceful retreat. Looking forward to our next sojourn.
