We have just come back from a week at the morromar with 2 children aged 12 & 14. We had a great time in lanzarote, and the hotel is positioned in a quiet area with a short walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. Prior to our arrival we asked for both rooms to have twin beds, which was confirmed but on arrival they were both doubles. This was rectified the same day. The rooms have everything you need and we had a nice view looking out towards the sea. The food was varied and plentiful and there were no grumbles from anyone. There are 2 pools, the one closest to our room was the longer of the 2 which was quieter as it was away from the bar/ snack area, and we preferred this pool. The entertainment was aimed more towards the Spanish/ other nationalities although they did also talk in English. Often there was only 1 person at the bar, which meant there were often ques to get a drink. House keeping was a bit hit and miss, we had to ask at reception a couple of times. The ball courts are very run down, out the way and didn’t notice anyone use these when we passed them. Overall we would rate 3 1/2 stars for our stay.
