First impression was great. Lovely reception area and greeted with a smile. Checked in late around 10 30. The staff put out plates of food for people who checked in late. Location is fabulous for anyone on a family holiday. Kids club and activities for the adults were great. The staff made the holiday. Their work rate and willingness to please was excellent. Few things could be tidied up. Place is a little bit old but it is well maintained. Cocktails aren't great. Pool could be a little warmer. But again the staff were excellent. Our 3 year was in awe of a few of them because of how they treated her. They made the holiday for us Would definitely recommend.

Really not bad... Food ok but always sort of the same. Very clean. Drinks good.. Only problem for me, just far to many children running about.... My fault should of went adults only... Walk across the road to the beach. Have to get a taxi if you want a better restaurant

For all the 'amazing reviews' I can only feel sorry for you for how bad previous holidays must have been for you!!! We were here 6 years ago and it was perfect. Now, shocking (we are here currently). On the more minor things, for the most expensive room (suite) it is grotty. The toilet has black chips in it, the floor is all coming up in whole suite. A drawer is broken that we have already asked to fix twice (nobody comes). They have only once given us towels for all 5 of us - and everything they leave is for 3 people. The tea and coffee looks like it's been handled by 5000 people and the whole essence of the room just screams ugh. But to the MAJOR. The first morning we were here we had run out of bottled water to make our baby's bottle (ours was too high sodium). I phoned reception at 5.45am and was told I couldn't have any as 'you only get it once'. I said I would come down and happily buy it and was still told 'no, the shops open at 9'. Like, sorry, what?!?! Subsequently every day we have had bottled water replaced so I have no idea what the problem was, other than being totally inhumane and happily denying a BABY food. There is ants crawling over the side and the bathroom and are crawling over the baby bottles and INSIDE a mug that had boiling water and a dummy in. Open the microwave to sterilise and they are crawling in the door. Reception told me 'we know and nothing we can do'. I said this is unacceptable. Then I am told the manager has left and that for FOURTEEN hours EVERYDAY NO-ONE is in charge of the hotel!! And to basically just deal with it. Again, sorry, what?! I said what if there is a problem at say midnight. Am then told well she's in at 9am!! Our baby was throwing up yesterday, could that be why, I would say quite possibly! There are other things but these are the major safety concerns. So again, I reiterate, please DO NOT STAY HERE. There are so many other hotels within the same lovely area.

What a wonderful hotel. I rarely review any hotels but we had such a brilliant time that I wanted to. It was my first time to Lanzarote and I would return. 1) The location is ideal. The hotel is literally on the beach, a beautiful walk with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. It was 12 euros to get to the airport to the hotel so I wouldn’t waste money paying for transfers. 2) We had a double twin room which was spacious and cleaned daily. Double balcony also: 3) There was a great selection of food in the buffet restaurant, I’m a vegetarian but I found lots that I could eat. The desserts in particular were lovely. You didn’t have to queue for food and it was filled up quickly. Tables were clean and staff worked hard. There was a snack bar too. 4)The pool area was clean and there were sunbeds available (this could be due to the time of year) music and entertainment by the pool was all day- for kids and adults. The entertainment team worked very hard. 5) Entertainment at night was varied (dancers, acrobats etc) and it was easy to get a drink at the bar or you could also self serve. A great 4 star hotel. Thank you for a wonderful few days away.

We had a fantastic week at Sol Lanzarote Hotel (All Inclusive) in early October 2024! From the moment we arrived, the eco-friendly approach and cleanliness of the hotel were clear, and we truly appreciated the effort the hotel makes to reduce waste with their reusable cup system. The staff were incredibly kind, polite, and welcoming, making us feel at home right away :) The location is just perfect—only a two-minute walk from the pool area to a beautiful, clear beach and the sea! The three pools provided plenty of options, and even in October, there were always available sun loungers. We recommend booking a sea view room on the top floor; waking up to ocean views and the sound of the waves was a highlight of our stay. Dining was another standout. There was a great selection of freshly prepared meals, plus a snack bar by the beach and pool with fresh fruit and snacks through the day. I’d recommend bringing a thermos mug for drinks during the day—it’s convenient for both beer and soft drinks. Evening entertainment was top-notch, and the bar offered a nice selection of drinks served in glasses, which felt like a nice touch to wind down after a day in the sun. Maria evening bar staff made delicious cocktails especially mojito! :) We’ll definitely be returning—thank you to the wonderful team at Sol Lanzarote Hotel for making our stay so enjoyable!

Before I get on to some points that I feel this hotel needs to address, we had a fantastic holiday, location of this hotel is one of the best I've stayed at, just beautiful, the walk down the beach, where there's shops and bars is also great and so is the beach, staff at the hotel are amazing work so hard, in a busy hotel, room was cleaned every day with fresh towels, food for an all inclusive is pretty good, wasn't always hot but there was a microwave in both restaurant and day time snack area, breakfast great, lunch great, tea time not so great, food ok but it was far to busy I would go as far to say just crazy, no matter on the time you went, we did decide to eat out 3 evenings as just couldn't stand how noicey it was, also some sunbeds really need an up date, alot broken and very dirty, and a little closed in very close together, but you could always get one, they are my negatives, entertainment was very good, enjoyed what we saw, wasn't always easy to see due to being very busy, or people moving in front of you, plus pillows in the way of the stage, entertainment team work so hard, amazing really, thanks for a good holiday

Where do I start - First allocated room smelt like babies nappies, mold over the bathroom, dirty room, tired bedroom furniture. I requested a move but was given two options.. have another room as this or pay €210 for a better room. I paid the money - Second room was pretty much the same as the first one but bigger, although it did come with extra goodies like a soap bar in the bathroom, a double bed in replace of two singles, oh and lots of dirty cockroaches. - Third room was much smaller than the second but I didn't get a refund. - The pool atmosphere - it's like being trapped in a bad kids music mix tape. Don't get me wrong, I have kids and have no issue with kids but the blasting I'm a barbie girl all day get difficult to live with - The food/dining, oh my god.. I haven't got enough space to document everything. We made our own table every day, trying to find cutlery napkins and glasses. Staff couldn't give two hoots, you would ask for something, they would nod and you wouldn't see them again. - Gluten free menu, considering this is a buffet restaurant, gluten free options had to be ordered the day before, you had a choice of a handful of options and you had to choose an alloted time. We ordered and waited for the food at 7pm.. 8pm it finally turned up (dry tuna steak and cold chips) which we didn't even order. I spent on average €70 a every evening eating out of the hotel to ensure we had something decent. We also ate out during the day. The staff are not trained in what has gluten in and what does not. Drinks - I was at the Sol Lanzarote for a week and literally couldn't get tipsy, not even drinking at the pool for a few hours. Drinks were severely watered down, I realised this after ordering a neat whisky which tasted like lager shandy. I have stayed at many Meliá hotels over the years but nothing as bad as this, it literally ruined our holiday. I tried to speak to the hotel manager twice but she refused to speak to me, only sending out other members of the team..none of which really cared..they just recited a script Please don't go here, everything mentioned above just scratches the surface, it's truly horrendous and wouldn't EVER recommend it. Don't say I didn't warn you! I'm now going to wait for the response from the hotel manager saying how sorry she that the hotel and experience didn't meet our expectations.. we'll keep it, just sort your mess out and refund me my money
