The highlight of the hotel is undoubtedly the reception!! The two Italians who located them are cordial and sunny! The absolute biggest flaw is the fact that the swimming pool on the terrace and everything else closes at 7 pm, which does not allow you to admire the beautiful sunset! Strengths should be exploited, not demolished!

Please ignore the bad reviews. We arrived on Aug 5th around 8.30pm, you do have to walk through the middle of the shops to get to the reception but it's really not a problem. The lady on the desk was lovely and gave us all the info we needed. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children -10,12,16. We stayed in room 94, it's a 2 bed with plenty of space and a sofabed that is easy to pull out and pack away. The appointment was clean and had everything we needed other than an oven, we already knew this but just bear in mind that obviously that limits what you can cook. The cleaners came in every other day and did a very good job, clean towels and made beds, they were changed twice while we were there. The cleaners are lovely and happy to help if you need anything between cleans. No there isn't air con but the ceiling fans do a great job, the cleaner told us to leave to curtains closed when we go out as it keeps the room cooler. The only reason I've not given the last star is the noise from the bin men every night around 11.30/12 and then again 6/7am, we left our balcony doors open a little to help keep cool but the noise woke me everyday! Please also bear in mind that the hotel is on top of the hill, you have to go down to go the the shops, bars, restaurants and beach....but then you have to come back up...lol. There are 3 pools and a hot tub, we didn't use the downstairs pool, it had a 35cm platform all around the outside which our kids didn't like, great if you had toddlers. There is a toddler pool on the rooftop too. The main pool on the rooftop is 175cm deep, it's not very big but it also wasn't very busy, our kids loved playing in there, they don't allow blow up floatys....but they do allow pool noodles and diving sticks for the kids to play with. There is a bar at both but we didn't use them, nor did we have the breakfast, it cost £10 each and I don't think it's worth it as you can go to most cafes and get a full English for around £5! There is a Lidi 2 minutes walk away, which was very handy. The shops below are great for gifts, probably some of the cheapest we found too. Scooby's cafe is also lovely and good value. Highland paddys in Los Gigantes is a must visit, great food and entertainment. We hired a car from across the road from the apartments, been as we waited till we were there and it was August it did cost us £550 for the 2 weeks but honestly it was a god send, we were able to visit anywhere on the island, we also paid £45 to park in the multi storey which is a must as parking everywhere in Tenerife was a nightmare, we also used paid parking when out visiting towns as it wasn't to expensive and we always got a space, street parking is crazy busy!! Due to having the car we were able to visit Los Cristanos, Las Americas, Costa Adeje, Monkey Park, Loro Park, Aqualand and Mount Teide sunset. Taxis to the south are approximately £70 each way. We also booked a boat trip from down in Los Gigantes, the Masca express, wow it was brillia

My teen daughter and I did a last-minute trip just looking for something clean, cheap and cheerful, which pretty much sums the place up. The pool is actually pleasant but not heated as described but there are plenty of sunbeds and a great view. What I would say is definitely don’t be tempted by the food at the little bar. We paid €10 for Caesar salad which was smaller than a cereal bowl, had one piece of lettuce and uncooked fried breaded chicken. The table next to us had reheated chips which was also very disappointing. The bar is ok for drinks but I would bring your own and definitely avoid all food also because the owner just shrugged and couldn’t have cared less when I complained. A shame as the place is otherwise fine for a last-minute cheap and cheerful trip.

Not brilliant but in a great location between Los Gigantes and Puerto del Santiago. Friendly staff but it needs upgrading. Apartment for six with worn out sofa and one wicker chair, poorly equipped kitchen. Dangerous floor in the foyer, like an ice rink when wet.

I was here in January for 1 week. The apartments were clean, comfortable, could do with aircon though, the fans were not helpful. Shower was very nice in apartment. Wear ear plugs if you are not deep sleeper though because of people with suitcases outside checking in and out. Noise above you in apartments too. Comfortable beds. Sunbeds need padding on them or you get back ache! Pools both a nice temperature and clean, can’t complain on the pools, nice view from upstairs pool. Area was good if you like quiet which was perfect for me and my kids. The showers you use on your last day up the stairs by the downstairs pool could do with some refurbishing. The sun would be gone from downstairs pool by 4pm because of the building with the showers / gym in which was a shame but you can go upstairs for remainder of sun. Overall not bad. Reception staff were really nice and helpful. Suggestions, some more music around the pools, maybe a downstairs bar to buy drinks or snacks. The area is ok but not a proper beach, adeje is a good beach. Playa de la rena is meant to be nice but we did not go. I hear it is black sand. The thing that lets that hotel down is the two lifeguards. The only one who is professional and kind is the one who was there on a Saturday and Sunday downstairs, he was polite and kind, he would communicate with professionalism and respect. The lifeguard at the upstairs pool is very rude. I am not sure of his name. He talks to people like rubbish if they dive or jump in the pool, he points at them and talks to them like he has anger issues. He spends most of the time looking at his mobile too. The downstairs pool lifeguard is rude too, I cannot be sure of his name but he was there in the week days Monday through to Friday, he gets very angry at children and spends alot of time on his phone too. He spoke to my children like they were dirt because they splashing around and having fun, he complains about children to the cleaners too whilst pointing at the children. Children are supposed to have fun on holidays!!! He also sounds like he might be a pest to females. When I was trying to take a nap, all I could hear next to me were two young women complaining to each other about how this lifeguard makes them feel uncomfortable. One of the women had a husband who was very upset and angry. Those two lifeguards need to be sacked. Apart from that, it was a ok hotel, I wouldn’t return because I do not appreciate my children being spoke to like rubbish by two horrid lifeguards, which is a shame because even though the place isn’t perfect, I would have returned if it wasn’t for this.

Positives..The apartments are centrally located and there are some lovely restaurants in the vicinity! As for bars I can’t really comment as I am a non drinker. Rooms are well equipped with utensils, etc! Plenty of storage space The man on reception was really friendly Negatives.rooms are filthy and aren’t cleaned often, our bed has dirty sheets on when we arrived and the response we got was do you clean your house everyday at home? Yes I do.. Bathroom door was falling to bits Pools were absolutely freezing not heated at all and the lifeguards, kids aren’t allowed to do anything! Enjoyment prevention officers. Two of my children are neurodivergent and one of them shouted at him and asked if he was stupid, did he gave brains? (Just for the record he’s working above his age group so plenty of brains, he the think one) The lifeguard developed an obsession with us,it felt wherever we went he appeared Noisy every single night because if the so called shopping mall, hardly a mall just a couple of shops Breakfast was absolutely vile, always cold! Certainly not family or child friendly I was really looking forward to it after reading the reviews, a hidden gem, clean and tidy etc..it’s certainly non of these, it’s a dump!
