Blue Sea Puerto Resort

Booked holiday as was good price. Mrs then read reviews and started to get nervous , cockroaches blah food bad blah blah. But wow when we arrived it was beautiful and clean and all staff was very helpful and polite. Only negative which a bit of a constructive criticism is that they could do a few more kid friendly meals like put burgers in buns every night. Evening entertainment was good for 3-4 nights poor on others , at night there needs to be more tables and chairs and at night a lot of people were sat on sun lounges. Now for the amazing pools were amazing of which there was 2 .hotel was spotless what food we had was stunning just needs more English choice for kids as most just ate chips every night. Staff super friendly always on hand to help. Our room was beautiful and clean, we will be back miss you already, blue resort hotel

This hotel doesn't come close to a 4-star hotel the rooms are outdated with stained carpets, uneven floor boards and an awful damp musky smell, yes the hotel is cleaned and parts of the hotel are lovely (6th floor of the Bonanza hotel are newly renovated) however this doesn't excuse the fact that we spent the first 3 days of our holiday either at the reception desk or changing rooms due to the bedbug infestation. 1st room 136 2nd room 104 3rd room 1336 All of these rooms had a major bedbug infestation, and the fact that the hotel staff are aware of this problem makes it even more disgusting and completely unacceptable, yes the hotel did move us everytime and accommodate us with new rooms however this could have all been avoided if they just sort out the problem at hand. This hotel needs to be closed so that all rooms can be treated because every time we moved, the infestation moved with us, so the treated rooms would become contaminated again. We were up from 2am one evening after being woken by bedbugs crawling on us and spent the next 6 hours washing and drying all of our clothes at the hotels expense. The hotel is advertised as beach front hotel and while you can see the sea from the hotel the nearest beach is definitely not within walking distance, and isn't a beach that you'd spend time at, it is rocky shores but does have beautiful views. The pool area is nice, and plenty of sunbeds. The evening entertainment was acceptable especially for the time of year however there is definitely not enough tables and chairs to accommodate the number of guests. Food was good, no complaints, we always had full belly's. Overall, we would not return to this hotel even if they sorted the bedbug infestation. We don't feel like that have their guests' best interests at heart. Martha, on reception, was absolutely lovely and deserves a lot of credit for being patient and helping us in any way she could.

Terrible experience. We thought we were booked to the same hotel as the rest of our family - there are three Blue Sea hotels in the same area. Asked for an accessible room which we didn’t get and I can’t climb in the bath to shower. No Di ing facilities in this hotel. You are expected to walk up the street and across the road to eat! Very unhelpful staff. They couldn’t care less and no manager on duty as “it’s the weekend.” Lovely lady at Loveholiday is trying to sort it out but as there’s no manager on duty she’s having the same problem. Totally misleading description of hotel. The photo is from my daughter’s room. Our hotel is across the road and down the street. I am disabled and expected to walk across to the hotel every time I want to eat!

Stayed in bonanza palace (bluesea puerto resort). Arrived late driver shouting Bonanza palace at the drop off point but our docs said Bluesea Puerto resort. turns out one and the same. Went straight to bed as late. Woke up and found bedbugs. Initially thoughts only few bite. moved our room and second bedroom also had bedbugs. Moved us again to newly refurbished room. No bugs. Spent holiday on high alert. Chemist twice and sent to doctor by hotel manager due to reaction to bites. Told not to sunbath and cover skin. Love holiday really unhelpful. Offered £50 compensation. Wouldn’t fly us home or source another hotel. Suggested as we were there we could look. Would only pay for second hotel retrospectively so we were expected to pay upfront. Would not fly with this company again.

Just returned from 10 days at one of the three hotels in the blue sea resort .1st -12th September 2024 Good points great pools ,plenty of sunbeds Hotel clean and tidy Entertainment staff friendly Some reception staff helpful but not all House keeping lovely Food ,breakfast good ,limited choice on meat but good variety on other food and chefs always bringing in more food Nice area , not far from main town and nice scenery . Lovely locals with cafes ,bars and great restaurants such as Chinese few minutes from hotel ,cocktail bar next door and steak house about 15 mins known as blue steak house Lovely rooftop cocktail bar in sister hotel over road with nice views and see sunset .you do pay for drinks but roughly same as you pay in England Disappointing points Lack on information on free bus service Wasn't aware that you pay 1 euro per person to get a drink from bar ,you pay get the cup then go back with same cup staff change it with every drink . Some staff rude in reception in our hotel main one where you get dropped off man with dark hair lovely . Entertainment staff work hard and get little support or funds to do better shows Rooms very outdated yet hotel over road in same chain was modern,bright and fresh and the photos are on holiday websites Was told influx of bedbugs on reviews on here we never had them so took spray just incase . We also both had sickness for 24 hours after 5 days there were others we spoke to had same .

So what can I say I never write reviews but seriously ,arrived got moved at midnight twice ,then again the next day due to bed bugs infestation,I've worked in hospitality so not their fault was pleasant,they said because you gave been so kind we are upgrading you to a superior double room,all brand new,so the next day checked out at 12 but in limbo till 2pm!!! Ok let that ride,got a nice new room comfy beds etc,2 days later we are in bed for 2 days with food poisoning!!!! Hence didn't eat there again for the last 8 days even though we paid for all inclusive,so anyway woke up this morning with bloody beg bug on the bed and this is a new room,have just got home now at 3.30 am and got into bed and found more bites,these hotels need to shut shop for a week and totally get rid of these bugs ,the manager tried to blame the french!!!!!! Seriously the amount of guests that had the same issues.... ridiculous
