The hotel is dated in parts and our room was a little tired although it was a superior room we overlooked wasteland and nort a sunny sea view we expected. However, the room was clean and the public areas spacious The staff were friendly and reception efficient

Couple ages 62/56. One week all inclusive+ January 2024. First visit to this hotel, which was recommended by our travel agent. Weather here in January can be varied. We had 17-22 degrees during our week, with some cloud some days. Hotel does some things very very well, but could improve on some things. Check in was quick and we were pleasantly surprised when we were told our room had been upgraded to a suite. The entrance is very large and grand, but as it sits on a hill, reception is on the third floor. Once you get the layout worked out, navigating around the hotel is reasonably easy. Our suite consisted of a living room with tv ( massive), bedroom (massive) with TV and bed (both massive). A walk-in wardrobe off the living area and a spa bath with shower in the bathroom . Mini bar with beer, wine and soft drinks and spirits all topped up daily. All very clean and functional, but silly things like 1980s sliding doors and blackout curtains that jam just before they fully block the sunlight just take the shine off. All inclusive+, gets a few benefits. Exclusive lounge, area in restaurant, 1 visit to a la carte and a very impressive selection of wine and spirits and mixers. Very unusual to get fever tree tonic on all inclusive. The buffet food for us was the biggest let down. Food choices were what most buffets supply, but only just warm. Standing waiting for fresh supplies coming out is not how I want to spend meal times. The wine however was superb. Our night at the a La carte wasn't much better. Food a little warmer, but not a great choice. The prestige lounge was excellent. All the drinks you could ever want, plus sandwiches and snacks. Even a PlayStation and some PCs. To sum up, room..good. sleep quality..good. drinks .. very good. Entertainment... good. Food..poor. Spa...good. And , if you can afford it, go prestige..... You won't regret it if you enjoy a drink.

Fabulous location, fantastic staff overall, fabulous swimming pools, good value for money, if you like watching tv in English it’s not for you as most channels are in German 🇩🇪 funnily enough, dining room birds didn’t worry us they live here, food got a bit monotonous after 10 days but mostly pretty good overall, piano bar has great views, the show bar had some great artists and some not so good, shame the good ones didn’t do long on stage, an hour at the most, normally queues at the show bar as I thought a bit understaffed there, also can’t really pay with cash or cards at bars , it gets booked to the room which I found weird but heyho , fab sea view from room and very very clean, cleaners are fantastic, overall a lovely hotel but a very quiet place to stay, although nightlife is up the road a cab ride away, in Puerto del Carmen, weather was incredible btw .

Well I had a lovely week here , I was so relaxed and chilled out and so sad to have to go home. The only thing I can moan about is a broken bin in the bathroom of our room , 177. Nothing else to complain about. Yes there were birds , I didn't care ,it wasn't a big deal . Everywhere is spotless ,all the beds were wiped down ,tables ,chairs ...all wiped daily. Everywhere is swept clean every morning , I never saw any rubbish anywhere at all. Food was lovely , so many choices . Beautiful salads , lots of pasta ,fish meat dishes . All kinds of bread , fruits ,cheeses ....I enjoyed my meals and so did my son ,who loved the spaghetti and sausages ! No complaints about food and you will always find something delicious. Breakfast is amazing , all different cereals and grains and yoghurts and I wish I had more than one stomach tbh It's all child friendly and wheelchair friendly. The marina is a 10 minute walk down hill , this is difficult on the return for wheelchair users or mobility problems . There is a little shop in the hotel that sells water and snacks and souvenirs. There is a great bus service into Puerto Carmen daily. We had a garden room, big and spacious, big bath . V comfy beds ,comfiest beds i have ever slept in abroad. Piano bar is lovely ,great musical entertainment most nights. You need cash for the safe deposit and towels but most hotels do this abroad and nothing to lose your head over, just take a bit of cash with you . Anyone who could get stressed at this hotel is probably a difficult person to please . The palm trees swaying and the beauty around you here is awesome. Lovely staff too , if you talk and smile to them you get smiles back ,all the staff were super friendly. Please go here and experience how lovely it is . One day I shall return ,I literally can't wait

Just returned and had a fantastic time. Refurbishment was ongoing so only buffet restaurant open but an amazing selection of food at every meal time (we have some fussy eaters). Chefs and restaurant staff were super friendly and table service was fantastic, also managers were personally greeting people into each meal service which was a great personal touch. Rooms were very clean, great selection of complimentary items available to use and cleaners were very polite. Reception staff so friendly and helpful from start to finish - big thanks to Angelica (an Angel!) Great selection of pools and the spa was amazing! Free entertainment activities daily, the hotel also caters for those with limited mobility. There is a gift shop on site which was great if not wanting to leave the complex. Looking forward to a return visit.

We stayed here for a week end April / early May for our first visit to the area. The three things which are important to us are, Hotel (facilities, rooms, cleanliness), Food (options and Quality) and the Hotel location. Any entertainment we take or leave, perceived happiness of staff is not a deal breaker and sunbed wars happen in lots of places, that is down to people not the hotel. So here are my thoughts on our week: Hotel: Beautiful and well maintained hotel. Room was spotless, plenty big enough and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and beyond. No English channels on the TV ( think that’s is everywhere in Canaries right now) but we don’t watch it, only useful to catch up on the news. Location: we wanted quiet with a few bars nearby for a change of scenery. Absolute lovely location and the harbour area was enough for us. Walk back up was a test for our 60 year old legs. Food: only slight negative on the week. We knew before travelling the main restaurant was closed. There were a few nights when there was delay in getting a table but not excessive (although a few guests did have a problem). There are plenty food options at breakfast and dinner, we were HB. However it was all a bit cramped and the presentation of the food as well as access to it a bit restricted due to long queues and being able to get at each cabinet. Breakfast was no problem and plenty of choice. I will visit again to see if the opening of the new restaurant makes the evening dining a better experience. Next time I will go AI, it was unclear what drinks or costs were, we didn’t realise each area had a price list on the QR code. A lovely relaxing week in a lovely hotel which could have been improved if the main restaurant was open

This was our 3rd visit to this area and each time stayed in different hotels. We chose this one this time as its quite close to the marina which is beautiful. The rooms are spotlessly clean but there are no tea and coffee making facilities which i find strange in comparison with other hotels. You can hire a kettle from reception but there is a 30 euro deposit. Also bear in mind. If you are all inclusive, uou should get bottled water in the room. We didn't get any for 4 days until we enquired but even then, we had no bottle opener in the room and obviously no one had checked if we had. In the end another guest lent us one. The food is OK if not a bit limited. I do understand that a refurbishment is taking place and they are doing their best with the space they have. Another thing I find strange is having to leave a deposit for towels and pay for your safe deposit box. It also has to be paid in cash??? Again, never heard of this in this rating of hotel either. Staff are friendly and the pool area is spotlessly clean. There are plenty of sun loungers. Would recommend this hotel but make sure you have cash when checking in

This was a very nice, clean hotel, however during our stay there was some refurbishment ongoing which meant there was only one restaurant open on a daily basis. This was a buffet restaurant which I personally do not like. The food was ok but nothing special, I much prefer a restaurant with menu choices which are delivered to your table. Because we had upgraded to the prestige club we were invited to an “Al la carte” evening, I have to say this was the worst meal we had. Neither me nor my husband were able to eat the main course as the meat was all fatty and inedible. I saw a lot of other tables also send their mains back. The dessert was on the menu as cold cheesecake, it was in fact cheese and crackers. The pool area was nice and clean however the pool was very cold. The spa was very good, we visited this a few times during our stay as we had daily access with the prestige club. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Just returned home after a 6 night stay, felt the need to write an honest review of the hotel. Firstly would like to point out this is our opinion and everyone has different standards. We travel a lot and always book a minimum of a 4* hotel so have a good experience of hotels throughout the world. The hotel itself upon arrival looked quite impressive, reception checked us quickly but certainly couldn’t call them friendly, also find it bizarre you need to pay for a safety deposit box and also leave a cash deposit for towels in this calibre of hotel? We didn’t have enough cash but were asked to take some from the machine before the towels would be provided. There is a charge to withdraw so please be aware of this. We were given vague directions to our room and 25 mins later found it, disappointed to look out of the balcony to see a skip, and realised we were in the block next door to the renovation work! We were advised of this but also advised Jet 2 customers would be placed away from the works! We also booked a pool view room but overlooked a road the front of the hotel? Reception advised hotel was full and didn’t have the rooms to be able to change is?? Next morning went for breakfast, ok selection, which we quickly realised was the best meal of the day! Restaurant is currently been renovated so this is open concept meaning there are birds flying around whilst you eat!! There are plastic owls used to scare them away but clearly not working as actually saw a bird picking at the cheese!! Also sitting at what appears to be plastic patio furniture which is very dated unless you’re a “prestige customer”. Sunbeds around the pool are plentiful but need a good clean, bird poo all over them, other hotels hose them daily etc. Morning being the only time of the day we saw cleaners, sweeping and removing glasses etc that had been left? We often took glasses back that were still left from the day before. Toilets at the side of the pool bar are very unclean and I actually told the staff at the bar on 3 days! Pool bar staff apart from a a member called Marta not the friendliest either, often waiting whilst they have a conversation before serving you. Lunch is at the same restaurant so same issues apply, pizza were the choice of my children but always cold and oily, a lot of the food is luke warm so very off putting, we lived on salad and bread at lunch. We were told the snack bar was open after lunch service had finished. Selection was awful, Ham slice in 2 pieces of bread, vegetable sandwich? Cold vegetable cream(soup I think) some sort of cake and a toaster machine to able to toast your sandwich, there was also a small fruit selection, apple, orange and kiwi. Evening meal was much the same and after the first evening, we then looked at the offerings daily and choose to eat out! In other hotels we have stayed in you can have a fresh pasta made for you, jacket potatoes with a filling selection etc but we found the food very bland that first evening. T
