You can see the pier from the balcony of your room. The transportation is convenient and very close to the pier. The room is simple and clean. The boss's service is very friendly. There are restaurants and cafes downstairs.

The service is very good (the front desk is very good and helped me recommend other hotels and provide transportation information after I checked out). But some questions still need to be raised: the bath water is either too hot or too cold. This is not a solar problem, but an equipment problem. Internet, although the entire island network is not good, there is no network signal in the room.

The manager was very helpful & provided information that added to my stay, his English was also very good which was handy for me. The location was very convenient to walk most places. The rooms were large & bright. There was a really nice communal kitchen/lounge/balcony on the top floor with water views. The only downside was there was no lift but I think this is common in the Galapagos.

Has a luggage elevator to take your bags up the stairs. The third floor has a sitting area with kitchen.

I liked the owner, Carlos & his staff because they were very kind, helpful & accommodating!! We felt very welcome & appreciated. We had everything we could possibly need and more for our stay! The hotel is beautiful & quaint. We would definitely stay at the Posada Del Mar the next time we vacation in Santa Cruz!

Extremely helpful staff.
Large room with a huge balcony overlooking
the port.
Central location just a couple of mins walk
from the pier and restaurants.
My daughter and I would highly recommend this property.
