I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the very beginning, the staff was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. Every detail was perfectly taken care of, and I felt truly welcomed and well looked after throughout my stay. I especially want to highlight Sandra, who was simply outstanding. Her warmth, dedication, and attention to detail made my experience even more special. Always ready to help, with a smile and a positive attitude, she made me feel completely at home. Thank you, Sandra! I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning soon. Thanks to the entire team for making my stay unforgettable.

This centrally located, locally owned hotel is a little gem. It’s been owned for generations by the same family, and the woman who owns it, takes great pride and care in how she and her staff treat you your entire stay. It is clean, comfortable, and we could not have felt more safe and cared for. One of my favorite features is the freshwater they provide, which is badly needed when visiting and taking daily excursions. There is a kitchen for communal use and daily breakfast served from the rooftop for a great view. Also, the restaurant next-door is not only convenient, but also serves really great food. 10/10 recommend this place for your stay.

This hotel is in a great central location but the best thing about it is the fantastic staff and the dedicated owner. Everyone at this small hotel is so friendly and helpful. It really makes you feel at home. The owner is obviously proud of her hotel and it was great to hear her stories about the hotel’s history and how different everything was in the Galapagos 50 years ago. The breakfast was the best we had during our four different stays in the islands, and it varied a bit everyday which was nice. My only complaint is that most of the superior rooms are located above a constantly noisy sock shop. Apparently you can’t sell socks without a loud sound system pumping out bass from 9am to 10pm! Bring some ear plugs or avoid the superior rooms. Otherwise, I would highly recommend staying here.

Excellent customer service! Very clean, large rooms (I had an ocean view rom #12), and the property is extremely well taken care of. The Air Conditioner was perfect for the hot and humid afternoons. Literally directly across the street from the Pelican Bay Park where you will see Iguanas, red Galapagos crabs, baby sharks, pelicans, sea lions lounging on the sun…and Glorious sunrises! The staff here is Amazing! Breakfast was very simple but delicious (toast with Avacado, eggs with cheese and fresh juice and coffee). The views from the “cafeteria” are incredible, too. Each table features a Galapagos inspired animal. So adorable!! On site Filtered water (hot and cold), to fill up your water bottles. Remember : NO PLASTICS! Great location in downtown for restaurants, bars and shopping. I will definitely stay here, again!

They had upgraded us to a superior suite. It was roomy and clean. The shower had decent water pressure. It was right on the main street and had a cute little balcony. Air Conditioning worked nicely and had fans that kept the room very comfortable, considering it’s super humid in the Galapagos. But the best part was the staff they couldn’t do enough. They gave us so much information. They were endlessly patient and just really nice. We love our time here.

When we arrived at Plaza Luna in the devastating heat, we were greeted with frozen towels and mint tea. They had us! And then when we saw our beautiful room, complete with a pitcher of cold water and wash rags (which we only had in 1 other hotel) we were impressed. Quiet, very clean, friendly…perfect. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

The owner was wonderfully welcoming and the facility was gorgeous. Each room was decorating differently and each room was stunning. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and cozy. The breakfast was good and the view from the “cafeteria” was stunning. I would recommend the Plaza Luna Suites to anyone and everyone coming to Puerto Ayora!

A great place to stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. My room had a private bathroom but I think some of the rooms did not. The location was right in the middle of town along the waterfront which couldn’t have been better. If I ever come back to these wonderful islands I would definitely stay here again.
