The hotel is gorgeous and our suite was perfect, but I experienced poor service on 2 occasions. Firstly, when I made my booking I asked for a dinner reservation and they confirmed that I had one. When I arrived, I was notified that our reservation was for the Terraza. I did not realize at the time that the Terraza is different from the restaurant. Instead of booking us for the restaurant they booked us for the Terraza, which is not as nice and has a smaller menu. When I asked them about it they said they thought it was what I wanted. WHATT?? That makes no sense. I was hugely disappointed. Also, I ordered a soup for room service and was told it would be delivered to me in 15 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting I called and was told again that it would take 15 minutes. After a full hour of waiting, I decided to go to the restaurant and just wait and pick it up. It still took another 30 minutes or so. It's soup. My goodness, there is no excuse for that.
