The property is a restored convent and is decorated with original religious objects as well as the owner’s antique/memorabilia collection. Rooms were a good size, bathroom was huge and there was a nice courtyard, rooftop and little bar area to relax in. Maryanne and Cristina were great hosts and the hotel was only a short walk to the main square and bars/restaurants. If you’re there on a Monday night the Wrestling Arena was directly across the road.

This lovely boutique hotel in a 17th century building is just wonderful. Every room is filled with amazing antique furnishings. I loved the location, a few blocks away from the tourist bustle of the Zocalo, but only a 10 minute walk along interesting streets to get there. I stayed in the Lavaderos room on the ground floor, with a lovely small patio to enjoy morning coffee with privacy. Beautiful tiled bathroom and good wifi. The staff is warm and friendly. Marian was particularly helpful, speaking perfect English when my fledgeling Spanish faltered. Breakfast in the morning was a delight- omelets if you prefer or Mexican specialties. Included are fruit and local breads. I will gladly return on my next visit to Puebla.

This is a wonderful and unique hotel. When we were dropped off at the kerb I was a bit worried as it's a fairly busy road which is not particularly picturesque. However, after entering through the large doors, it's like entering a world of curiosities and intrigue. The room itself was gorgeous and located at the top floor with lovely space to sit and relax and view across the rooftops. The room had charming decor including a chandelier. The only slight downside is that there is limited privacy for the shower area, which steps out into the main room. There's a lovely bar area, with many antiquities to discover. And the team make a wonderful margarita. There are also board / card games to play. The breakfast had some good options and was both filling and tasty. And overall service is friendly and warm. The location is great as it's walking distance to both the center of town, but also a street with great little boutiques, street stores and restaurants. I'd just wished I had a few more days to relax and enjoy the location.

My husband and I loved our 3-day stay at the beautiful place full of colonial charm. Our room (“Campanario”) on the top floor was spacious, comfortable and quiet, and beautifully decorated. Right outside is a rooftop terrace with views of colonial churches and Popocatepetl, ideal for a glass of wine in the evening. Loved the location, a short walk to the Zocalo and to everything else, but safely out of the tourist combat zone. The staff is super helpful and responsive. Last but not least, the ample Mexican breakfast (many choices) is out of this world. Highly recommended.

ESPECTACULAR!! Es un lugar para adentrarse en otra época. La casa en sí es un museo. Excelente ubicación en pleno centro pero sin ruido. El desayuno, muy completo y exquisito! La atención inigualable. Las camas muy cómodas y todo impecable GRACIAS CRISTINA POR TODAS TUS ATENCIONES!!

Excelente experiencia. Un lugar muy bien ambientado con antiguedades. Es un hotel boutique. Habitaciones amplias y cómodas. Muy limpio. En el centro histórico de Puebla. Todo queda a pocos pasos. Cristina muy simpática y excelente anfitriona. Marian también. Todo lo que necesitamos fue provisto por ellas. 100% recomendable.

La decoración es excelente, las camas muy muy cómodas, el agua sale bien caliente en la regadera, el bar está padrisimo!! Un día desayunamos ahí y todo estuvo riquísimo, pero lo mejor es la atención de Sandra, Cristina y Alberto, todo el tiempo están disponibles y siempre ofreciendo ayuda, hacen pasar un momento muy agusto!
