The room was clean and neat. Slightly over priced. The food was really good. The indian menu was ok but the continental food was very good. The service is really good and staff are very polite and helpful.

No parking available we need to park car in street side. Residency is located in center of white town. Walkable distance to beach and other restaurants. Parking is the main concern.

Room was quite small as compared to what is seen in the photos. No ventilation in the room. Location of the hotel is good, many key places are within walkable distance.

We stayed at the richmond for two nights and overall the experience was good. The best thing is the location of the hotel which is just 500m away from the beach and in the centre of white town. Surrounded by all the beautiful french looking buildings the hotel itself is also gives a nice french vibe. The breakfast served is fresh and has a live kitchen for ordering dosai. Since the hotel has a lot of greenery around so it does attract mosquitoes. Only suggestion is to carry mosquitos repellent when visiting the hotel or white town in general.

Rooms and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Food was excellent and good quantity. Staff were helpful and very near to beach and white town.

They do not check the rooms before allotment to the boarders. Maintenance of rooms is very casual/poor. During my three days stay i had been shifted to three different rooms. Continuous water outflow was there from the cistern of the first room. Water outflow from the tap of the bathroom was very very low due to accumulation of iron in the second room. There were few slim cockroach roaming in the wall and furnitures of both the rooms. Window could not be locked since the lock was kept broken in the third room and i had to stay keeping the window open. I shall never recommend this hotel to anybody.
