Great location, great staff, excellent food. Garden is exceptional. Rooms were comfortable, clean and well kept. Staff in the restaurant and the bars were friendly and very attentive. The only slight criticism that you could make is that the reception is a little small with only being manned by at most 2 people.

It's very comfortable and nice. It's like staying in a palace. The service staff are also very enthusiastic. The restaurant inside is also delicious. The price is not expensive, only 1,000 per person. The spa inside is very good.

Très bon hôtel, nous avons logé dans la suite azzurra. Chambre très spacieuse, personnel courtois, petits déjeuners copieux, avec un buffet sucré salé très bien garni. Nous n avons pas pris le dîner car l établissement ne propose qu une formule à trois services. L hôtel est bien situé, on descend la rue et on trouve tout de suite une superbe église et un peu plus bas, le lac Majeur avec de nombreux restaurants au bord de l eau. La ville est bien située, point de départ pour visiter les îles Borromée et à quelques minutes de la très chic Stresa ou d un superbe jardin botanique

Friendly staff, amazing hotel in an excellent position for discovering Stresa and the surrounding area. The local ferry’s are cheap, convenient and easy to use and there is a direct train to Milan that takes just over an hour. Isola Bella and Isola Madre are definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

This is an exceptional hotel. We stayed for 4 nights in August 2024 and had the most wonderful experience during our stay. Every aspect of the hotel was well beyond our expectations. The quality of the facilities, the ambience of the environment and most of all the exceptional service from every member of staff was perfect. Nothing was ever any trouble and the staff attended to our every request, in the most friendly way possible. The hotel is very classy, most elegant and a charming environment to spend your holiday. The hotel property is located on the lake side just outside Stresa in Baveno. This is a big plus for the hotel since it has a decent size flat manmade beach with loungers and a private dock to swim off. Also there is no road noise since the hotel blocks it and the balconies have stupendous unobstructed views. The hotel wasn’t busy so we enjoyed our balcony without any neighbors on adjacent balconies (so no outdoor smokers phew). The room and bath were comfortably sized. However, the decor is Tony Sopranos over the top. The food we ordered from room service was acceptable, like a solid B-. Air conditioning is controlled by the main desk and our room didn’t get cool enough so neither of us had a good night’s sleep. The pool area is set aside with loungers on the lawn separated by a hedge. And we were told at our room rate, we’d have to pay 12 euros each to use the gym.
