Sport Hotel Passo Carezza

The location is incredible, you are surrounded by mountains and the view from the balcony and all the windows is beautiful. The rooms are really well appointed with comfortable bedding, lots of space, tiled, modern bathroom and lots of lighting options so you can also read in bed with a dark room. The full breakfast and the Blue Spa, with sauna and steam room, were the highlight. A special thank you to Diana who is a barista extraordinaire, managing to do art on a cappuccino with oat milk. She also gave us tips for hiking in the area and recommended downloading AllTrails. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We hired e-bikes from a company recommended by the hotel, we had a great day, we also got a small discount and they dropped off and picked up the bikes from the hotel. The hotel also gave us a bus pass for the local transport during our stay.

Tidy and clean. The staff is friendly and the breakfast abundant and not too crowded. Location wise is also a plus. Perfect place to start many hikes. The room was spacious with many amenities, the balcony big and with chairs. It’s a very modern and newly built hotel. The spa is nice but small and can get very crowded late afternoon.

We had a very nice stay Sporthotel Passo Carezza. Hotel The hotel is quite new, has bright and funky colours. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is no problem (parking garage is available, but there is enough space besides the hotel. I don’t know what it is like in winter). If you want to use the spa/sauna, just ask. You will get bathrobes and extra towels (bathrobes are nice for the room as well ;-) ). Room The room is spacious. We had a room on the ground floor, so instead of a balcony we had a shared ‘garden’. We loved it! Bed (firm) and bedding were wonderful. We loved the interior of the room, nice colours and a lovely hanging chair (we need to buy one). The room was very clean. Small (and quiet!) fridge is available in the room. No airconditioning (but it wasn’t advertised, so no complaint) and under normal circumstances you won’t need it (we had a heatwave of 35 degrees Celsius). Other rooms have a balcony and you can have a very nice view of the mountains. Bathroom was modern, shower (rain shower) was excellent. Very clean as well. Breakfast Healthy breakfast, different choices. Everything is fresh. The chef will make scrambled eggs or an omelet at your request. Location The location is perfect for hikers, cyclists and (during winter) people who love skiing or snowboarding. There is not a lot to do (not a lot of shops), but that was no problem. There are a couple of small villages within driving distance. Really nice restaurant (pizzeria) ‘behind’ the hotel (the staff had recommended it and they were not wrong). We stayed at the hotel as a stop (okay, 2 nights) during our journey. We don’t regret it at all. Overall: very good hotel, nice staff.
