This was a great hotel to spend a night before catching the Bernia Express! Breakfast was great!!! Excellent staff who also recommended a great restaurant for dinner, made reservations and the food was amazing- Parravinici! We walked from the train station but preferred a taxi in the morning which they arranged for us. The walk is doable but we are 70 and in decent shape but preferred to start the day easy!😀 Highly recommend this very special hotel!!!

Wir haben hier übernachtet auf unserer Wanderung von Chiavenna zum Splügenpass (via spluga). Die Besitzerin Lorena ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Im großen und sauberen Zimmer fühlten wir uns gleich wohl. Beim Abendessen konnten wir bei allen Gängen zwischen zwei Gerichten wählen. Schön fanden wir, dass einheimische Spezialitäten angeboten wurden: Brennesselgnochi oder italienische Rouladen (Involtini). Auch als Vegetarier wurde man gut bewirtet. Ein reichhaltiges Frühstück machte uns fit für die nächste Etappe. In diesen Coronazeiten waren wir froh, dass die Besitzerin keinerlei Nachlässigkeit zeigte, immer eine Maske trug und beim Frühstücksbuffet offene Nahrungsmittel (wie Brot, S*****en, Croissant) nur mit Bedienung anbot.

What a fantastic hotel. I really wanted to keep this place secret so no one else could book it but I had to share. Don’t be mistaken from the outside it looks a little quirky like flats but inside it’s just quite wonderful. The finish is superb with amazing attention to detail and the material wood and stone just exquisite. The staff are so warm and helpful especially the lovey Oana whom almost adopted my little boy and Frederica whom nothing was to much trouble and so helpful and engaging.’Two lovely and friendly ladies whom we will most definitely miss. The breakfast are superb. The fact there isn’t an evening restaurant means the hotel is super quiet sleeping. The cleaning is excellent and so efficient. The ski room is great as is the high quality under ground parking. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this is top of the list. I struggle to understand why it’s only 4 star and not 5. Just 500 mtrs from the ski slopes. All rooms have a balcony and the windows are triple pane so no road noise. What a little gem this hotel is. With so many hotels to choose form in Bormeo, I would highly recommend this little piece of heaven. We will definitely be back but until then we really miss you all. Thank you for a great stay.

We spent a fantastic week ( 26 Dec. /1st Jan 2022 ) with our twins 14 YO. ( and relatives ) on Half board/ evening. Huge parking protected area underneath the hotel, connected by elevators to the rooms. All the staff, is kind and ready to help in any situation, starting from Roberto, the Director. The ski slopes are served by the hotel free shuttle in 5 minutes on call.( Grazie Pasquale per la tua disponibilità) Food was excellent and varied every evening, NO RECYCLED DISHES FROM THE PREVIOUS DAY!!!!( word of catering professional) breakfast full of different cakes and croissants.... every day, bacon & eggs, ham and chees freshly cut every morning !!! The ground floor bar allows you to taste all kind of drinks and some snacks at any time, the ever smiling Anna was always welcoming us at night, after dinner for a last drink. The suite was big clean with good bedding and we could see the mountains trough the wide bay windows and balcony of the 2 rooms. You can leave your ski equipment in locked cabinets donwstairs and accessible from the lobby and it can be rented on site, just 3 meters outside the Hotel ( they picked them up at night themselves from the cabinet at the end of our stay....just perfect 5 stars' service....what else? We came from Paris and met our LECCE's family in Madesimo, and all of us ( 12 people ) were really impressed by our choice, as we it was our first time here...but will probably come back whenever we can. It’s a beautiful hotel to feast your eyes on and even more gorgeous when you arrive. Eight tired motor bikers turned up to a welcoming smile. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Bathroom was great and ample space our drinks were served early doors with a delightful array of cheeses and meats etc a lovely touch. The staff from the restaurant and bar were the best. Their smiles did not fail to make to you happy. Exceptional service at dinner and the food was faultless so many special touches you won’t believe. You need to visit to experience them I can not praise this hotel enough and I send my special thanks to the lovely egg and chicken gentleman he was the best you could wish to meet along with the service of the other two young men. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be back
