This hotel is the most impressive hotel I have ever stayed in. It has a perfect garden, a Michelin restaurant inside, and the rooms are surprisingly big. Everything is very good!

The English language contains many words for superlatives, but not enough to describe Borgo Santo Pietro. I’ve visited many five-star hotels and resorts but nothing like this magical place. I booked for only one night. Next visit will be for three nights minimum!!!! This stunning place is an experience. The beautiful grounds with flowers and vegetable gardens and secrete hideaways, the gorgeous bouquet of flowers in the room and everywhere ( from their own garden) the aesthetic experience of the public places, the incredible dinning with Michelin green star tasting menu by chef Ariel Hagen using products from the Borgo Santo Pietro’s own gardens. One can sense that no detail to delight the senses has been skipped. No expense spared in making it a flawless, elegant, pampering experience for the guests. We did a sound bath with ******* bowls and various chime sounds which was an incredible experience. We did massage in their fabulous spa. I had a delightful chat with their artist in residence. You can visit her studio and even take an art lesson. The room was beautiful, The bed was super comfortable with cotton sheets and great pillows and blanket that made you want to stay in bed, but hey, we had booked a massage. ( I looked at the name of the company and will order bedsheets from them.) The staff is warm, attentive and welcoming. Three of them waited for us as we drove from the gate along the cypress lined road to the main building. Sienna is not far away, but who wants to leave the property when you’re in a place like this? Not me. To sum it up, if you have a bucket list, be sure to add this place to it. Prepare to be dazzled.

This is my review for Borgo Santo Pietro | Tuscany Overall Score: 3.5/5 Clean Rating: 5/5 Other Hotel Amenities: 3/5 This is a luxury boutique resport located in the most beautiful tuscany region. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place felt very clean and welcoming (except for that wooden toilet lid… I don’t trust it). But it very very clean despite having a comfy rustic feel with candles burning everywhere. It was very farm to table which is very appealing now a days. The food that you eat was picked fresh in the morning from their own extensive garden. There’s lots of ammenities that the hotel offers such as cooking classes, rent a fiat and scooters, veggie picking in the morning, and a spa among other things. We did two cooking classes and I feel like it was a MUST. We had so much fun. We learned more about italian culture and we could eat what we made (and even had leftovers!) We rented the fiat and scooters to explore the nearby towns and had a blast! Felt very Letters to Juliet of us. The veggie picking in the morning with the staff was a highlight. We got to get our hands dirty and pick items that would be used that very day in the restaurants. We also took a free tour of the grounds and saw live animals and mingle with the staff. The spa was only decent in my opinion. I have paid a lot less and enjoyed it a lot better than here. And I am not obsessed with all the natural creams… they weren’t life healing to me. All in all it was a great trip but here is where I throw in a few cons to consider. You are stuck there. We rented the fiat to tour the nearby towns but honesty nothing is there. You are forced to eat at the restaurants. Which is fine and dandy but also very expensive. Also to do cooking classes or rent the scooters and fiat it is very expensive. Which ok I get it…. It’s a luxury hotel. But basically I realized I was too poor to be there. I’m middle class and a housekeeper so i am obviously not making Lisa Vanderpump kind of money. Kids are allowed at this hotel which normally I’m ok with. But the nannys that watch them (not sure if from the hotel or not) are obnoxious and loud. I think in general if I am paying Daddy Warbucks kind of money to stay some place I want to relax. I’m not on a Disney Cruise. But that’s just my opinion. I love kids I promise. Anyway did I enjoy myself? Yes. But would I go back? No. But then again what do I know? I’m just a housekeeper.

We stayed for 4 nights in September at the Borgo Santo Pietro, and although it is in the middle of nowhere, that’s part of the appeal and charm. If you want to visit wineries in Montalcino, Montepulciano or Bolgheri, you have to have a car or a driver. Most of these areas are about an hour to 90 minutes away by car. We had a car and enjoyed driving around the Tuscan countryside. But, you are captive at the Borgo - there is nothing around - nowhere else to eat - but when the food, service, atmosphere, lodging, etc. is as spectacular as this place, you don’t need or want to go elsewhere. The Trattoria was our favorite, and the food, views, service and ambiance is thankfully still stuck in my head two weeks later. We ate there 3 nights and ate at the signature restaurant Meo Modo the other night. Everything we ate was a treat. You just could not go wrong with anything. Meo Modo probably needs a filet on the menu, as it is a bit fish heavy, but it was an incredible dining experience. The outside terrace overlooking the farm is indescribable. We are not easily impressed, but this place - Wow. The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are unique and art in and of themselves. We stayed in the Vecchio Forno room which is a separate cottage near the main entrance. It’s amazing. Pictures do not do this place justice. Just go. We will be back.

From the moment we arrived, we felt as though we stepped into a dream. This resort in Tuscany is a slice of paradise, where every corner exudes elegance and charm. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Ann at breakfast was polite, friendly, and fun. Lynn, another amazing person who added to Borgo's charm. Emanuel, Restaurant Manager was gracious, and ran a beautiful restaurant with farm to table top notch meals. The Front Desk Manager, so friendly, made a point to talk with us and make sure we were having a great time. This is truly one-of-a-kind resort. 4 nights was too short. It's a place to make memories that will last a lifetime!

How could one explain this hotel... it's a fairy tale-like setting! Rafaela, the cooking instructor and Noosheen really made our stay extra magical. The cooking class is a must and so is the flower workshop. Quite the definition of slow living and reconnecting in the middle of nowhere of beautiful Tuscany.

Ah, dearest readers, gather 'round and let me regale you with the delightful escapades of three fast friends who found themselves nestled within the enchanting embrace of Borgo Santo Pietro in the sun-drenched July of 2024. They took refuge in the whimsically styled chambers of San Galgano and Sir Vincent, each a testament to individual charm and allure. Picture, if you will, the hotel itself—a veritable feast for the eyes, as though conjured from the pages of *Bridgerton*. Flowers cascade like whispers upon every surface, fountains flirt openly, and candlelight dances in the shadows. Every corner a lover’s embrace, each inviting soul to indulge in sweet reverie. Behold the noble tree that graces the splendid pool, seemingly shedding its ethereal blossoms into the shimmering waters, as if it too partakes in the enchanting fantasy. The maple’s delicate blooms resemble orchids, floating with a grace that would make the most seasoned debutante swoon. The infinity pool, akin to a secret lake, plunges to a tantalizing depth of 2.4 meters—truly a siren's call for a refreshing dip! And let us not overlook the staff, whose affable charm and impeccable service ensure that every guest is cocooned in comfort and delight. We must raise our teacups to the ever-gracious Alba and Greta, who tended to our every need during breakfast and dinner at the delectable Trattoria. Ah, the morning fare! A veritable triumph for the taste buds, lavishly displayed in a quaint old open kitchen, while the meals at Trattoria Sull’Albero were nothing short of divine. Set against the backdrop of an ancient tree, the view was a feast for the eyes as well. Our expectations, dear friends, were not only met but splendidly surpassed, leaving us wrapped in a cocoon of sheer contentment Yours Truly Lady Whistledown

The website totally undersells this unique and remarkably beautiful property. The attention to detail and service are impeccable. The restaurants are tremendous. We had the best pizza of our lives, and the breakfasts are perfect. The estate and landscaping are simply beautiful. The combination of their obvious respect of Italian antiquities and great design in the refurbishing of the resort 15 years ago led to a beautiful property It may be one of the top 3 resorts that we've ever experienced, and we're very seasoned travelers. Yes, it's pricey, and sort of difficult to get to, and isolated, but it's worth it.
