What more could you want?!? Stunning view in a context of peace and tranquility. Inn with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Strategic point for visiting the Val d'Orcia. A few minutes from Pienza. I would definitely go there again.

Beautiful structure as a former convent surrounded by greenery. All too spacious accommodation, a pity that in winter a single wall split cannot be sufficient to heat the room and sleeping below 15 degrees is not comfortable. Even during dinner, which was excellent, the room was cold and we ate with two heaters, however insufficient. The breakfast and the courtesy of the staff are also excellent.

I stayed with other friends, with children, for three days. They assigned me the Ginepro room, on the ground floor, very spacious and comfortable with a spectacular view. The only note of demerit is the size of the bathroom, cold and with a shower cubicle bordering on castrophobic. Given the covid restrictions, being us 8 adults and as many children, we were assigned the entire large room, equipped with sofas, TV and a pool table. This concession, much appreciated by us, proved to be the real strong point of the stay. On the catering, unfortunately, I have to reproach the low level of the food offered at breakfast with a few artisanal and local foods (fruit juices, yoghurt, rusks and supermarket sandwich bread with the addition of croissants and donuts, tea and coffee) and above all the small portions (even for children) served on plates at dinner. Given the prices, it was certainly not a question of gourmet dishes. After our repeated complaints we had to find the repetition of certain deficiencies and we were forced to dine in another structure. Sin. It took very little to satisfy our needs. Overall mark 9 for the structure and 6 for the restaurant.

I am writing these lines not so much to review the hotel, since I did not have the opportunity to stay there, but to report the manager's arrogance and rudeness. Let me briefly summarize what happened: we book a room and dinner with a phone call on the morning of our arrival, we are asked for an approximate check-in time for which we indicate late afternoon (around 18:30). We arrive at the structure at about 8.00 pm and we are informed that we do not have the room reserved by us, since given the delay and the non-response to phone calls (phone unloaded, cmq message and whatsapp call at 7.30 pm!), It has been re-rented . Now, I do not judge the business / management choices that I do not agree with and I admit both the delay and the non-communication of the delay, but: no apologies have been mentioned for the incident or proposed solutions! We have been accused and treated badly for a delay! And to the polite question for advice or advice for a new accommodation, the answer was a laugh and a: "let's not collaborate with anyone, now everything will be full!" The location from the outside, however, deserves a photo !!!

Siamo stati alcune volte con degli amici e devo dire che il posto è fantastico! La posizione è strepitosa! La vista è meravigliosa!! Ma la cosa migliore è lo staff e la cucina!!! Abbiamo mangiato benissimo…Chef Teresa ci ha fatto vivere un’esperienza come a casa! Oscar ci ha servito con professionalità e simpatia!! Complimenti!! Torneremo sicuramente!!
