Club Esse Posada

Booked through easyJet holidays. Hotel was certainly not a 4* probably 3* at best. Room assigned was nothing like the images shown on websites when booking, travelling as a couple we received a family room with bunk beds, two single beds and mattresses pushed together, MFI wardrobes, dated bathroom and the smallest ever shower, no WiFi in room. More like a hostel. We did request an alternative room within 24hrs of arrival but no support or solution from easyJet or hotel after multiple comms. Also every day pestered by cheese sellers around the complex on way to/from breakfast. Restaurant staff were rude on numerous occasions. Hotel is split into two areas and divided by road. Parking limited at peak times. Only positive would be location to town.

The Hotel claim to be 4 stars which it is not true. Tables at the bar are all broken, personel barely speaks other language than Italian and you get different info from the reception depending on the person you ask. The senior women in the reception are not friendly and sometimes very rude. There is no option for late check-out at 12 even though check in is only at 4 o'clock... and believe me... they don't let you in before 4. I was there at 8 am and I could only enter at 4 - which I don t complain but don tt say you can t check out at 12 and lie that the Hotel is full (I saw many booking options online) if it is completely doable for the cleaning ladies to start cleaning your room at 12 as nobody get is before 4. The beach is quite small and the common bathrooms are not always clean and sometimes it lacks toilet paper. Beach food is awful and the kudos to Luca and Leonardo which where great serving us. They are responsible for a better grade. Another person in the bar was extremelly grumpy wouldn t smile and also no English at all. Music every evening was Ok, however I would suggest to finish at 22h as it would go until very late and we could hear very loud in our room. In 12 days, there was no chicken or cow meat in the restaurant, mostly fish and pork meat. Dinner was from 7h30 to 9 but if you arrive at 8.30 there are dishes that are not replaced. Food was good most of the time. Pizza was great and tasteful and the pasta as well. Not too much fruit ... Location is great, close to the Port and walking distance from the Hotel. For the rest, it was quite expensive for the service we got.

We stayed here for 1 night which was "ok". But this hotel is never a 4 stars hotel. BUT: The air conditioning does not work! We tried to call the reception from our room but no one answered. Then we went to the reception to complain about the air conditioning not working and we got the answer from the receptionist “today it's a problem, tomorrow it will work”. After reading many reviews about the non-functioning air conditioning, I doubt that the air conditioning works at all. All in all the hotel is outdated and we didn't have the feeling that anything would be renovated. The restaurant is very noisy and the breakfast was not very inviting. We just missed the love of doing this business at all.

We stayed at Club Esse Posada this summer - family of four including two teenagers. We were worried that it would be too quiet but the kids joined in the beach / sea activities, used the pools, played tennis etc so there was enough to do. The rooms are a little tired in their decor, but they are a decent size and have everything you need in them. The staff work very hard to keep them clean. We didn’t eat at the hotel (apart from breakfast) as we were only B&B, but it’s a very pleasant walk into town where you can find a wide choice of restaurants. Also, there’s a supermarket close to the hotel for lunch bits. We did the boat trip through the hotel to La Maddelena, which was fabulous and well worth the money. All in all a fab, relaxing holiday.

Comfortable kids & pets friendly village .The staff were all very friendly and helpful The hotel is well situated ,where everything is within walking distance . Room was just for our needs and comfortable( nothing of luxury).food was delicious (amazing pizzas).kids club was great, special mention to Alessandra with the beautiful smile on her face receiving our daughter daily , very good animation team . (Aurelia was very funny ). All the stuff in the restaurant are really working hard (Davide was always nice and helpful). My only complaint is about the lack of time for cleaning team and some dog's owner didn't pick up and dispose of their dog's waste, maybe because there is no dustbin around . Overall it was a lovely stay for us and our dogs as they enjoyed the dog's beach very much . we will surely go back to this village again .

Not as expected from 4 stars hotel. Our room was at the "basement", below ground level. Room smelled of damp. Furniture was rather old. Very loud music every night till after midnght, staff at reception ignorant. When asked to change the room, it was even worse - with a window leading to the wall! I would not go back.
