Very old and simple facilities. We do not understand that it has 4 stars, it does not deserve them. We chose it simply to be close to Palau, to take the excursion to La Maddalena. Too expensive for what it offers

Booking a 4-star hotel and paying dearly for it only to have the impression upon arrival that you have arrived in a run-down and neglected 2-star hotel. The room was dirty and uncomfortable. We booked a double room and found ourselves with 2 unsteady nearby beds. The room in general was dirty (see also cobwebs), very neglected and with many broken things. It looked like the house in the countryside you use to party with friends. The old bathroom is an understatement, the oxidized and peeling taps which you don't expect in a 4 star hotel. Opening the bathroom window the view of a garbage dump with abandoned pizza bags and boxes. Totally not recommended.

Beautiful rustic style structure on the outskirts of Palau, our room with balcony always clean and comfortable, very kind staff, very good breakfast with a wide choice from sweet to savory. The swimming pool is beautiful with spectacular views over the entire valley. Recommended for a pleasant stay in Palau.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel which claims to be a 4 star and got it who knows how! To begin with, we arrived in the early afternoon in the belief that we could take a dip in the pool which we found dirty! We arrive in the room and in the fridge we don't even find a bottle of courtesy water which is always found even in a fourth rate B&B!! The rooms are neglected and the toilet flush barely works!! Up to this point we have tried to be tolerant, but when on the evening of our return we were scolded by an employee because, according to her, we were disturbing despite being far from the rooms, we started to feel a little uncomfortable!! However, we reached the peak of this discomfort the next morning when the same employee who only had Angelico's name, passing by us, exclaimed a vulgar phrase referring to the perfume of a friend of mine, even opening the window! Not only did she later scold the barmaid because, according to her, she shouldn't have made coffee for everyone, perhaps convinced that we hadn't paid them!! In short, an unpleasant experience whose positive note was only the kindness of the girl at the reception and the bar! Not even the director showed professionalism by initially refusing to dialogue with a member of the group who obviously asked for explanations!! To be forgotten never again! Not recommended

Although the staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms and bathroom deserve a facelift. The swimming pool is like the rooms. The sea view from the hotel is very pretty. The breakfast is very average for a 4 star hotel.

Dirty rooms, non-existent services such as a simple electrical socket, terrible bunk bed and always dirty sheets and poorly made beds. Nice pool although small but with mold on the edge of the children's area and the windows always so dirty that it was a shame to take a photo from inside the restaurant. The bar on the other hand has excellent service, good cocktails and a courteous barman. But let's talk about the jewel in the crown: the restaurant!! I don't recommend it to my worst enemy! They presented us all the dishes with "decorations" of balsamic vinegar to mask the smells, it was unbearable! They do not have à la carte menus but have daily menus. Unfortunately we wanted to try: the first was spaghetti with prawns and orange, absolutely inedible (always with a quintal of balsamic vinegar on the side); amberjack main course and courgette cream... full of scales. We took strips of beef and aubergines from the children and sent the full plates away because the meat was all scraps and nerves and the aubergines seemed to have been boiled rather than baked. A nightmare kitchen experience! Shameful! At breakfast the savory buffet is made up of packaged bread and fontina while for dessert only croissants and crumbled bread are saved, the other desserts are absolutely dry or bland, as far as drinks are concerned there is no bar but everything is dispensed by vending machines (one of which is not working) and obviously the icing on the cake is the fruit juice dispenser full of ants. Absolutely a negative experience
