We just got back from spending a week here and despite having a nice time, there’s definitely a LOT of room for improvement. I’ll split it into sections so it’s easier to read. Keep in mind the hotel was only recently taken over by tui blue. Rooms: The rooms are very basic and lack a lot of things. We actually paid for a superior and many other residents said there was no difference between the superior and normal and was also a lack of toiletries. As you can see by the pictures, ours was infested with ants. It’s a shame I can’t post videos to show the extent of the infestation. We gave reception benefit of the doubt and went and told them the first night we got there as we came back to our room and there were loads all in our luggage and bags and they told us they’d sort it. It wasn’t sorted and luckily my dad had managed to stop it. Was fine for a few days and then they came back, once again all over our stuff. Went up to reception, said they’d get someone in to sort it and yet again it wasn’t done. Obviously the maintenance needs some work. Restaurant And Food: First night the food was lovely and way better than other hotels we’d been too. As the week went on it got a little progressively worse. There is little to no selection of fresh fruit in the morning or granola type of stuff and then your average cooked English breakfast. A lot of the time we saw dishes from the meal before and even evening before being reused the next day. A lot of members of staff eating before actual residents were which I’d never seen before. Some of it was amazing and the deserts and ice cream were lovely but once again a lot of room for improvement. I do want to mention that the young girl (didn’t catch her name) who was working in there breakfast, lunch and dinner every day along with the young guy was absolutely amazing and grafted very hard and was super polite and made our dining experience a lot better. We didn’t go to the a la carte ourselves, but everyone we spoke to said it was the exact same food that was being served in the restaurant and there was nothing special about it. Hotel overall: There was a lot of different activities to do and the BlueF!t reps were great especially the lady. The shop on site is ridiculously expensive and only sells souvenirs which is a shame as it’s such a remote area and it would have been nice to have a little supermarket with snacks and more available. Entertainment was good and the reps were nice, we were looking forward to bingo but it didn’t get done as there were a few problems the week prior with missing balls etc. I don’t think we met one person who wasn’t bitten and all 5 of us who went have been bitten to shreds by mosquitos (no fault of the hotel just something to be aware of) and a lot of wasps around which were no bother. It was really nice and clean everywhere and the cleaners work very hard to keep the place tidy which is a plus. Drinks were okay but not very strong but never are at these hotels, however t

We had a fabulous holiday. I don’t understand other people’s negativity (maybe they’re just moany people) we have travelled far and near and have been to the Caribbean, so feel we are experienced travellers. We have been with Tui blue once before, this being our first true blue 4*. Hotel ~ staff amazing. Genuinely welcoming and Danny and Noora during the free activities were great. We participated in yoga on the beach, pool activities, cocktail class and lawn games. We wouldn’t normally do this. But highly recommend. Food~ this is not a UK all you can eat buffet. Far from it. Cold or hot, lots of choice in meats and vegetables. With the expected pizzas and pasta dishes. That was all delicious. Puddings and pastries also good. We ate at the restaurant you book, food was suburb. The van at the bar was fresh and always busy. The grab and go was also utilised, such a good idea. Water stations darted around. If you go to the welcome meeting, explains why water is limited in Sardinia. Beach~ is white and dark and some had bits and some doesn’t. Some parts were very much like the Caribbean, walk and explore. We took our own snorkelling mask and was amazing. Yes, there are flamingo in the lakes. Peaceful and tranquil in the evening. Area~ we walked to the port and back twice. Little shops, had ice creams and send postcards. Lovely scenery and views. A mix of white sands and pine woods. Noted we did not see one piece of rubbish anywhere. Island is very eco friendly and the hotel is the same. Spotless. Rooms~ had all we needed. Fridge also handy. We were only in there to shower and sleep. Deco; During walks can see these are classic Italian designs that you’ll spot around area. So authentic. Asked for an extra pillow. Which was left. Left outside light on and little gecko sits there. We had no bugs or ants in our room. Air conditioning great. Entertainment~ was nice it was not loud and over the top, we played the quiz and sat at the bar in the evenings, relaxed and outdoor space. My only complaint would be holiday makers vaping when sat in the bar, turning from their own family to exhale onto mine. We loved the fact there was lots of space, the beach and loungers were never full and never anyone next to us. The grounds are the same. You can lay by pool or go to a quieter area or relax in a hammock. Overall we’ve had a fabulous time. A beautiful country and experience. We feel we had excellent value for money.

We stayed at a Tui Blue hotel in Sardinia. It was called Tui Blue Boduni. The hotel was very pretty and we were happy when we arrived. The problems came at night, about 2/3 in the morning I was woken up by a thumping sound. Music. Extremely loud music. When I got up I could hear it even more loudly. It was music coming from an open air night club that was just across the road from the hotel! We mentioned this to our tui rep and they weren’t really bothered that we had been kept up all night from the music! They offered to move us about four doors down from our room. This would have made no difference to the sound so we declined. We were kept up with the music every night there! The music went on until about 4 in the morning every night. All you could hear was the thumping base of club music. Most of the staff seemed tired and moody. The food was ok but the canteen was very busy and they didn’t have enough staff so it was hard to get any drinks severed to you. There is no transport into the town so you are in the middle of no where with nothing much to do. If they put you towards the back of the hotel the beach is more like a 10 minute walk rather than a 2 minute. The beach is beautiful but again ruined by loud party music from the other hotels. After being kept up all night we would go to the beach and then have to sit and listen to a man shout through a megaphone and loud music from the hotel next door. The weather was bad so when we couldn’t go to the beach there wasn’t much else to do as there wasn’t any transport. Car hire is very expensive! The transfer back was awful. Driver could not drive a coach and was on phone the whole time. very moody and grumpy we felt uncomfortable! When we returned home we went into Tui to complain. We weren’t really made to feel any better by the lady who served us. All she kept mentioning is that is wasn’t sold as a luxury hotel. However, we feel that it is presented as an up market tui blue hotel and the basic idea of a hotel is that you have a nice place to sleep! We didn’t sleep for the whole week! This was supposed to be our honeymoon.

Our stay at the TUI Blue Budoni surpassed our every expectation. It was incredible value, the food was exceptional - traditional Sardinian cuisine, plenty of variety. Different every evening with three varying types of pasta (tomato, fragola, carbonara, ravioli, lasagne, vongole to name a few!) the mussels were the best I’ve ever had. Sucking pig was unbelievable. Lots of salad and vegetarian options, plus kid friendly and obviously exquisite croissants for brekkie. Local wines were delicious and high quality. What really stood out for us was the friendliness of the staff, and their pride for excellent service. Try the shaken espresso at the beach bar - best coffee ever! The pool was never overly busy, always sunbeds available. The beach is sandy shingle so take flip flops / sliders. The sea was as warm as a bath. Stay in the clear blue parts, the darker parts are rocky. Again plenty of sunbeds at the beach at all times. The Pizza restaurant was a lovely change from the buffet and again the staff were happy, cheerful and keen to please. There is also a food truck at the pool serving burgers, hot dogs, club sandwiches and the most flavoursome salads ever! This is super convenient if you want to stay at the pool all day, which we did for at least three days of our stay. The location is beautiful and the rooms had plenty of storage and housekeeping every day was appreciated and they kept our room very clean. The air con in our room was brilliant and we were grateful for it! The climate was warm (30C-32C) but there was a lovely breeze most days. Lots of activities if you want them - yoga, aqua aerobics, pool basketball (super fun), quiz nights, karaoke, bingo…etc. We went with our children who are 13 & 12 and they had a great time. We did an organised day trip to Corsica, which we loved even though there was a lot of travel involved (2 hrs on the coach plus 50 min ferry) but worth it. Alice, Claudia and Francesca the TUI reps were a delight and always happy to help. They really made us feel at home and put us at ease whenever we had questions. If you are keen to explore, turn left at the beach and walk along following the orange rope, to Port Ottiolu (30 minutes) a fantastic harbour with plenty of cafes, a pharmacy and delicious gelato. Last year we spent more than double what this trip cost on a 5 star hotel in Mallorca but we all preferred Budoni. The private area at the beach and the small and quiet nature of the hotel really appealed to us. We loved the authenticity of the resort and all the families were very friendly. The hotel has a great vibe. You won’t be disappointed.

Don’t waste your money. Toilets with no locks. Toilets with springs hanging out of flush male and female toilets.Filthy baby pool which needs scrubbing. No grass just scrubland. Beach an absolute joke full of shell/grit. Food poor standard ok if you like cheese/salami. Measures of drink laughable. Huge queues for a drink at the bar- only 2 bars. Feel sorry for the staff as they are clearly new and not trained. Tables not getting wiped down by staff. Flies all over the food. Pool is not deep enough to do proper lengths and has a liner in it?? They need another pool just for adults. Another bar is needed - no waiter service available. As you walk to the pool you have to cross the car park where all the hotel deliveries are made. It is noisy and quite frankly ridiculous. Very very poor entertainment. The superior rooms we stayed in are adequate and clean with hot showers. The trips are expensive and if not enough people don’t sign up you have to wait 4 days for your money back. The only positive thing was tui reps got a doctor to my son and the pharmacy dropped his medication off the same day. They are young staff and have been dropped into this hotel. It should have been closed down before Tui took it over and refurbished properly. The photos on line show plump cushions only a few chairs have cushions. It is not as seen. It is very deceiving.

The hotel is typical villette style accomodation quite basic for 4 star and there is room for improvement. Although cleaning service was very good. The outdoor table and chairs were fine but indoor furniture lack of seating needs improvement. The superior rooms are not big enough for anymore than 2 people. There needs to be better facilities for washing and drying clothes on site and a clothes airer placed in rooms to use outside the ladder type airers are not sufficient for drying clothes ok for swimwear or socks thats all. Moving on to the dining, dining was very high standard given the amount of people using 1 buffet restaurant. In fact i would say one of the best buffet restaurants we have experienced so far. Also serving quality wines some of which were superb, which we have not experienced at any of the 3 other all inclusives we have stayed at previously. We liked the fact that effort and care had been given in this respect to give hotel residents a true flavour of local food and wine. Please dont change this as we feel this is a real positive for the hotel to keep up the food and drink standards. If the same effort could be applied to the rooms it would be perfect. The location is remote car hire would help to get around as taxis are very expensive just a few miles into town. Walks in the area are very scenic take suitable walking sandals to enjoy the area and coastal views. The beach is very nice but could do with a bit of a clean up here and there theres a fair bit of seaweed but we did experience high winds so that could be why. We like the fact its kept traditional not been spoilt by tourism no mcdonalds to be seen. Hotel could lay on a courtesy mini bus for a few euros to take guests into town as theres no bus service until approx 20th June, we were going home 22nd and didnt notice any bus service. Seen some negative comments about food and breakfast, take no notice. This hotel serves fresh pastries from a local bakery blackcurrant croissants were superb. Just one thing to mention was the coffee, this needs improvement, it wasn't great. Overall a well managed hotel and restaurant with a few improvements would make it even better. Again please don't change the great traditional food and drinks.
